Beautiful property, however the tea party was very unorganized and the male server was not friendly nor did he know what he was doing. It was over priced with not very good snacks. We were there less then an hour and the tour was not very historic or informative. Would not recommend this!

Doesent learned alot about the furnishings and architecture from us, do yourself a favor and watch the video on the website before you go, it makes the experience come alive, the fresh Bay leaves were a plus.

A beautiful Victorian home lovingly cared for by a dedicated staff. We enjoyed the outstanding tour and manicured grounds. What a treat!

Lilian Place Heritage Center/Heritage Preservation Trust is a 501c-3 nonprofit which was formed in 2006. It includes historic Lilian Place, a wonderful 1884 Victorian Museum and the 1905 Historic Hotchkiss House Cultural Event site.
Join us for a Afternoon Tea (3rd Tuesday or the last Sunday of each month), or a History Social (3rd Wednesday of each month) at Hotchkiss House overlooking the Halifax River.
