Perry's Ocean Edge Resort is a popular and well-maintained hotel that offers a comfortable stay with many convenient features. Guests appreciate the friendly and helpful staff who make visitors feel welcome. The rooms are often praised for being clean, spacious, and having a kitchen with a stove, refrigerator, and dishes, making it easy to prepare meals. Many reviews highlight the amazing ocean view and the location's walkability, with a grocery store nearby and easy access to the beach. The outdoor and indoor pools are considered fantastic, providing fun for guests.
However, some visitors have experienced issues such as rooms not being cleaned upon arrival, construction work affecting the peace, and rooms needing updates like USB plugs and safety latches. A few reviews mention that the building is older but maintained, and some felt the rooms did not quite match the "resort" label, citing hard beds and limited TV channels. The morning doughnuts are a favorite, and the property's cleanliness and maintenance are generally well-rated. Despite some inconveniences, many guests enjoy their stay and plan to return, drawn by the location, pools, and friendly staff. Overall, Perry's Ocean Edge Resort offers a friendly, clean, and convenient experience with some areas for improvement.
I had dealings with Perrys from Australia. They made the interaction easy and were only too helpful (Mary and Linda) when needed. Thank you so much. Your integrity is refreshing!
