“I recently bought a 1968 AMX that is partially restored, which Michael and his sons have done a lot of work on. I have a stack of receipts with their contact information on them, and phoned Michael to ask him some questions about his work history with my car. Michael seemed genuinely pleased to hear from me, and spent a good deal of time giving me detailed information about the car I bought. He even typed out the service history on some of my receipts, since many of them were old and it was difficult to read all of the writing. Judging from the condition of the work that he did on my car, and his extremely kind willingness to help me with whatever information he could provide, I would highly recommend him and his staff to work on anyone's valuable old (or new) car. I wish I lived closer to them, because if so, I wouldn't hesitate to bring my car to them for any future needs.”

“Regency has been remodeled! Though one of two elevators is frequently being worked on, the service is great and the remodel makes it fresh. Easy walk to the beach (with access from back of hotel) and great restaurants.”

“I needed a nice, quiet yet good place to stay while visiting friends, and that's exactly what I got. The staff were nice, the rooms were cozy, and the place looked and felt great even just after inclement weather. Very impressive and worth the price.”

“Great view, room, and service. Great pools and hot tub. Very relaxing atmoshereNoteworthy details: Had an oceanside Kitchenette with a king bed, great view and accessibility to pools, Tiki bar, and Beach”

“The room was very clean. Great balcony view. Wish it would have been a king suite, but still a good room. Being so close to the beach was nice. They advertise a hot tub, but there isn’t one. We didn’t miss it, since we had a heated pool- which was great for November. Tiki bar was fun & food was good. Great location for shopping, sports or site seeing.Nearby activities: Shopping, race track & site seeing are nearby.”

“Not happy! I knew Daytona had storm damage and did my research for hotel not affected. Website does not say construction. I complained and was told it is in lot next door. Yes that lot has storm damage but the cement trucks were in BW parking lot under our balcony. They are working on the BW seawall and not the lot! We had to buy windex and paper towels to clean our car windows! I checked that pool was open before booking . Today it was drained and no timeline on reopening. No notice to guests! I complained to corporate but was told we can get a pool pass at another hotel. Very poor customer service from corporate to a B W member! Hotel staff was excellent and no complaints with them. Totally ruined our vacation!”

“Pillows was small 3 per bed , walls was thin could hear neighbors talking and a small dog bark all night long. Complain Thursday was better. 4 nights 4/20/24 to 4/24/24. Bar selection was sparse at best at $6.50 for a domestic beer.Housekeeping did a great job every day.Lack of tables and chairs around pool and $50 to rent 2 chairs an umbrella with small table for the afternoon. Did not pay for the breakfast package. Which is extra per night. At $968 for 4 nights think it be free. Walked across street for food and drinks. Last day check out no beach”

“I'm going to give it a five because it's under new management. I am flipping one of the condos. There is a huge mass of flips going on currently and it's going to be updated. The new HOA president is doing a very good job. The pool is now up and running. The tiki bar is now up and running. The Ballroom which probably can fit 30 to 50 people is going to be open soon. There is obvious Renovations since the new HOA guy came in. Due to competition I have to put porcelain marble tiles in the bathrooms. Granite countertops. White Shaker kitchen. High-end vinyl floors etc. Previous incompetency is now being replaced with competency. I am actually, now that the contractors are in my units as of tomorrow, going to help the HOA with extra work that can be done. The new president of the HOA is a mix of extremely laid-back attitude and not being a Karen and being very serious about getting the necessary stuff done. This is going to be a very very good spot within the next 6 months. Mark my words.”

“I have stayed at this hotel many times for the Speedweek races. Reading these reviews had me worried. I checked in 2/12/24 for 4 nights.. I had no issues with roaches, the check in was pleasant and quick and they gave me a room right where I wanted it.. The breakfast was as always better than anywhere I've stayed.. The shower control is challenging if you've never stayed there but ask the desk and they will tell you how it works.. I had ample hot water as well. Of course the location is perfect for the races and the pool is best of any place I've stayed but February isn't always perfect for getting in..If you like to walk there is endless shopping and dining within a mile of the lobby.. I do miss Millers Ale House which was just a few steps next door (they moved) but this will still be my go to when going to Speedweeks..”

“For the price. This is one of the better motels I've stayed at in Florida. The room had a modern feel to it and I felt like I paid more for it than I actually did!Maid was very nice and had a great 1 day stayI'll be back!!!”

“View was spectacular, Staff was friendly, the price was great, the room was convenient with stove and refrigerator. The beds where clean And comfortable. The plumbing is a bit outdated. First day, I showered and couldn't shut off the water, It was broken, Which should have been checked, before I arrived. But they where quick to repair it. Most hotel pools are out of service because of the storm But the beach was open. Staff is very friendly. I'll be going back in May 2023..Rooms: Clean but plumbing is a bit outdated.Safety: Was in a great area.Walkability: Close to beach access”

“Super cheap right on the beach, Wi-Fi wouldn’t connect tho but was t a big issue.Pool is down dude to hurricane damage but they have it all properly blocked off.My second time staying, definitely would stay again. Everyone is super nice there”

“The room was fine though way overinflated due to an event in Daytona on this weekend. Also there was no breakfast both days with no offer of price reduction because of it. At over 300 dollars per night I don't think breakfast or a reduction on price due to none available, would be unreasonable.Rooms: Clean, But had an odor.”

“Claudia, one of the maids, was very pleasant, responsive, and friendly. Made the stay that much more enjoyable. Room was nice, clean, right next to the ocean. Price was good.”

2.4 Poor39 Reviews

“Even though this Motel needs a LOT of TLC, I would stay there again. The bathroom door wouldn’t close due to rusted/pulled out hinges (an easy $20 fix) and it needs a new microwave (probably $30). Such simple repairs would make it worth the cost of staying there.Nearby activities: Right across the street from the Daytona Flea Market and the Speedway is probably a mile away.”

2.1 Poor50 Reviews

“No, it's not the Waldorf Astoria. The rooms are not spic and span clean or recently remoded. But the experience... Directly across the street from the ocean. Beautiful architecture and lighting and the staff was friendly and helpful. Stop worrying about the lumpy bed and walk across the street. And all for a budget price. I enjoyed my stay here.”

“It was the cheapest place on the beach in Daytona, so I was not expecting much. No doubt, it is old and a little rough looking, but it was a decent room and right on the beach. It is not a bad neighborhood, I was able to walk to a pizza place and several other options for dinner.”
