You can't get through to them, they pick up then hang up. They can't be that busy

This is actually a very nice post office. It's located right down away from the speedway in a neighborhood area. We often stop here to use the self-serve kiosk which is really convenient and really quick for the customer service counter

Typical Post Office, long lines, not enough employees.

We are a business that used to ship hundreds of packages a week through USPS. Things have slowed down recently, so you’d think handling just a couple dozen packages per week would be easier for our carrier—but somehow, that’s proven too much.
Our USPS mail carrier consistently ignores outgoing shipments, even when they’re clearly staged on a rolling cart right where he drops off incoming mail. Today was the perfect example: he delivered a small package addressed to us and placed it directly next to our outgoing packages—and still left without taking a single one. Absolutely unbelievable.
Unless someone is physically outside to flag him down and yell that we have pickups, he just drives off. We've lost count of how many times we've ended up taking the shipments ourselves to the local USPS just to make sure they go out on time.
Meanwhile, FedEx has been reliable and professional—they come inside, ask if there’s anything going out, and actually do their job. If this continues, we’ll be transitioning away from USPS completely. It’s beyond frustrating to be treated like an afterthought when we’ve been loyal customers for years

We are extremely disappointed with the level of service provided by our USPS mail carrier. He routinely drives by without checking the clearly visible rolling cart filled with packages ready for pickup. Unless someone happens to be outside to flag him down, he completely ignores outgoing shipments and leaves without a second thought.
Today was the most ridiculous example yet—he dropped off a small package addressed to us and placed it right next to the outgoing packages we had prepared for pickup... and still drove off without taking any of them. Unbelievable.
This has happened far too often and is simply unacceptable. The pick-up area is obvious, and it's his responsibility to check for outgoing mail—not just drop off deliveries and vanish. Meanwhile, FedEx consistently comes inside, asks if there’s anything going out, and ensures everything is picked up.
To make matters worse, he shows up around 9:30 a.m., often before we’ve even finished packing orders—something we could live with if he actually picked them up. But more often than not, he doesn’t, and it delays our entire shipping schedule.
Frankly, this is a disgrace to what the USPS should represent. Unless this issue is addressed immediately, we’ll be switching to FedEx full time, as they have proven to be far more professional and reliable.

Can’t walk in to get a passport application sent through. Online stated walk ins welcome until 2, but at 11:15 signs everywhere stating walk ins not welcome.

I was visiting the UK & had to send some things back home when my parcel was marked returned to sender (after I’d already left the region). There was an error from the international delivery service that didn’t include the apartment number I’d written. This branch was able to locate the parcel before it’d been sent back and was delivered in the same day. Rockstars! Thank you so much!

They were running this place like Champs! In the last 15 minutes of the day, I went back into the Post Office to try to see if I had brought paperwork that had some helpful information to find my package. (I did not.) Everyone behind the desk was very helpful, I spoke with the majority of them. They were putting it the work, it was obvious. Kelly was amazing and accommodated my situation with the a response time so fast, the delivery drivers were even in awe! All jokes aside, Kelly came in super clutch and I've never had a more positive experience at a Post Office.

Went here to drop off a box for a damaged package claim that I had opened online. After waiting 2 hours the manager at this location told me she didn't know how to process the claim further. When asked if another location may have someone who knows how, she got extremely combative. I went to the Ormond location and completed the process within 15 minutes. If you need something done correctly, go see the postal workers in Ormond!

The only employee who is absolutely the best is Ashon. He is professional and no matter how busy it is he is kind and patient he is a true asset to the United States post office service

LAZY, RUDE, laughable front counter employees. Literally have ZERO customer service awareness. I stood in line for 40 minutes, watching the employees eat snacks, on their cell phones & and move slower than snails. Went in for General Delivery packages and when asked to retrieve them, it was like I told them to go in front of a firing squad. This isn’t one or two of the employees, it is every last one. Went in FOUR different times to get packages that were signed for by the “mailroom” and left empty handed each time. I also was tracking a General Deliver letter and when it arrived at the facility, two hours later, it was returned to sender for no reason. Someone from higher up, please go into this office and either fix or fire these people. Completely unacceptable and embarrassing for USPS.
