Volusia Mall is an indoor shopping center with an enormous amount of different shops and markets, including a bookstore with a play area. It offers plenty of free parking and some find it very clean inside. However, the mall also faces significant challenges. There are many vacant spots and shuttered storefronts, creating a sense of deserted courts. The playground area has been roped off, described as dirty and smelling bad, with equipment not maintained. The mall can feel hot, needing better air conditioning, and some wish for extended opening hours. While there are occasional activities and restaurants nearby seem busy, the mall struggles with competition. Overall, it presents a mixed experience, with some visitors having fun shopping while others find it a sad or declining place.
The mall is pretty run down, in the mornings there’s groups of the elderly that like to walk around it. Tons of transients/homeless people. There’s little to no security one store just got robbed the other day. The bathrooms are freaking disgusting.

Mall is okay, BRIDAL shop is AWFUL.
Its fine you’re appointment only, (i went on a Monday) but to have ZERO people in the store then snap “appointment only” and shut the lights off so i cant even look is a disgusting way to run a sorry business. Hope you close.
