“A very conscientious veterinary clinic. During my last visit with one of my cats, Stormy, I did not have my regular vet available, so saw doctor KRUDUP. He was absolutely the best veterinarian I have ever had. I told him he didn’t have to do a full check and he reminded me that I would be charged for the visit for a check up and he was going to do the full check up he needed to do. he continually through the entire exam went beyond what I expected a veterinarian to do. He showed me how to apply eardrops as she was having problems with her ears. The medication worked and it was an overall very good experience. This is an excellent veterinarian for cats.”

They stand out from the crowd because of their commitment to healing & the quality of staff they employ (clinical & admin). The office/admin staff are expedient & never miss a follow-up call. They have even called me, as a courtesy, to check-in with my animals when they noticed an ER visit over the weekend. The vets & vet techs on site are educated, knowledgable, & ensure my pets comfort during procedures, also taking into account the nerves of the pet parent by patiently answering numerous questions during office visits.

Another obvious stand-out point is that they have animal whisperers on staff that can tame even the wildest of cranky cats & trim the nails of the most finicky canines! They are well-trained, compassionate, and professional.

Your pet will receive care from loving, empathetic humans whose sole priority is to make your kiddo feel better. 10/10 recommend!”

“My buddy County was diagnosed with cancer and wasn't given long to live. The Doctor and Staff were so empathetic when they gave me this news and their understanding of my attachment to County and the need to speed more time with him. During the week after the diagnosis I spent every free moment with him. I had called a few times to schedule a final appointment, but he would show improvement and I would cancel without any negativity from the office. On his final day I called at noon and they were able to get him in late in the afternoon so my wife could be there too. When we arrived we were cared for and shown the utmost respect and so was County.

This Doctor and Staff are tremendously caring and skilled, I am grateful to you.

So this was a rough month for me and my pets. My son's dog and my dog got into an argument, and they needed care after. This Medical Center and staff really went out of there way to make space in their busy week to see our pets. The took great care of both of them, followed up with phone calls and visits. My older dog came home and was still under the medication the next morning she was 110%, happy tail wagging and full of energy. I really apricate the way they work with the pet owners and the manner in which they care for the pets (family members).”

“We took our doggy Kody in for a visit 3 weeks after we rushed him to ER, and was diagnosed with slipped disc in back and became paralyzed, the staff was so helpful and caring, explained everything to us, and answered all our questions and gave us hope, took time with us and at the same time explained what could be the worse outcome, thanks so much. It meant the world to us as this is the first time we have dealt with a situation like this.”

“I am so impressed with this vet. I had never been to them before but found myself in a situation that one of my dogs needed to be since immediately and I was unable to go to our primary vet. I called them and after asking what was going on the immediately made a spot for us. When we arrived I was a mess to say the least and I was unable to get my injured girl out of my vehicle so the doctor and 2 or 3 assistants came out to my vehicle and did the exam right there. Not only was he able to calm me down a bit he went over his thoughts and suggested I might should go to the emergency clinic because what she needed they were better equipped for even though he could treat her but he gave me the option and took the time to explain it to me. I felt like this clinic was so accommodating and we had never even been there before.
After the emergency visit they had had said that for the follow up we could go back to Volusia Woods for stitch removal and an exam so that’s what we did. Of course it didn’t end there due to the location of the injury and when I called them and told them the situation we were in now the girl on the phone asked if I could send photos of what was going on and she would have the doctor look at them. I couldn’t believe it what I have never had a doctor of any kind take the time let alone ask to be able to completely understand before bringing her back what was going on. Not fifteen min goes by the call me back and said to bring her right in and they would be able to do something. I was like wow they made that so simple and convenient. We all know how distraught you get when your animal gets injured and you don’t know what’s going on. They once again came out for her comfort and took care of her in my truck and when I commented how awesome it was that they did that the response was that it was for my dogs comfort. I have never been more grateful. I will now be taking all of my animals there and any. Ew ones that come my way.!!!”

“We took our dog to Dr. Beckman and his staff for an ongoing dental issue on the recommendation of our primary vet. The staff was great to speak with and answered all of our questions and concerns before they took our dog back for his exam. As a specialist there is always the concern of costs. The total costs were in line with their estimate and was not as much as I expected. We were provided detailed explanation of the work that was done to address his pain afterwards along with pictures to show that type of issues Wally was dealing with. It was eye opening to see why our dog was so miserable and how much he was probably dealing with for months. Wally was noticeably more comfortable a couple of days later and was almost back to his happy go lucky self after a few weeks. I absolutely recommend Dr. Beckman and his staff if you need a dental specialist.”

“An individual vet is like anyone else, their skill level and bedside manner vary. First, I would never bring my cat anywhere else to have him neutered. They were done before I evem finished up at a grocery store run. Unlike other vets, I had an option to have him kept over night. I opted not to do that, but the option is important. The vet actually got on the phone with me to assess an urgent situation. Anything specialty, I might start with a general vet, but also know it could change to a needing a specialist. My fav thing about this vet is that I know they would not taunt my cat if I had to leave him and it is like a community practice. It is weird that people put reviews about cheaper options or their subjective personal opinions on how they size up certain staff. If a rating isn't discussing a specific experience, wonder about that rating.”
