“I recently had the pleasure of hosting an event at The Grand Palace Ballroom, and I couldn't be more delighted with the experience. This venue is the perfect size for any kind of event, offering ample space without losing an intimate atmosphere.
The decor is absolutely stunning, blending elegance with a warm, welcoming ambiance. Every detail, from the lighting to the table settings, is meticulously arranged, creating a beautiful backdrop for any occasion. The food was equally exceptional, with a variety of delicious options that pleased all of our guests.
What truly sets The Grand Palace Ballroom apart is the outstanding customer service. The staff were attentive and professional, ensuring everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The owner, in particular, was incredibly welcoming and paid close attention to every detail, making us feel valued and supported throughout our event.

“I love this place. It has top noch instructors (shout out to Paolo DiLorenzo) and the socials are super fun. Yes, the crowd is a bit on the older side but they actually dance well! I particularly like ballroom and the music is varied. One of the nicest things about it is the huge dance area, perfect to spread out on a waltz.”
“Very upscale yet not stuffy Country Club with a very professional, hospitable staff! Was here to be DJ&MC for a wedding and absolutely LOVED the vibe, facilities, amenities, and hospitality. Had lunch at Craft restaurant here which was amazing! Had a Bavarian pretzel appetizer, then a delicious burger cooked to perfection. Liked that there were other options to the fries like baked potato, mashed potatoes, etc. Thank you Michael for the great service! Highly recommend!”

“There are many very good shows, seats are comfortable, the sound is good, I think I even have extra large screens of the performers on video. Probably the main reason I like going it's at the Price Is Right. Very inexpensive compared to most communities Clubhouse shows. The reason is that the theater holds over 1,000 people and so the cost can be spread.”
“Fun place to hang out with friends, a group or a date. I was part of the of a group and we had a blast. This place had everything such a roller skating, escape room, laser tag, go cart, bowling and every arcade game you can think of. The staff was nice and helpful. We were part of a group and the good we had was good. The place with clean and they had a bar serving cocktails. It was a overall fun night and I got to play a little of everything. Inside there a speakeasy serving great cocktails!”

“We came on Sunday, March 10, to have specific information about the services. But we couldn't find any person to talk about it. A private party was happening. The store had to have always a person in reception to attend walk-in customers. Nobody wants to waste time”
“We had a amazing experience with our 8 year old daughters birthday party yesterday. Our host was amazing making sure everyone was taken care of having all the details needed for an awesome time. All the kids invited to the party had a great time on the ice arena. Parents decided to go ahead and step into the arena too, which was cool to see. Highly recommend.”

“Friendly staff, a few ball return issues in the pit aside on lane 28, the lanes and other equipment were in good condition, and center was impeccably clean (having working in a bowling center myself in the past, I know that’s no easy feat!).
Rates were quite reasonable for a weekend evening for two people!
Didn’t visit concession stand (ate before coming) and arcade (it was getting late when we finished) but will definitely check those areas out next time I visit!
Pro Shop on site but it looks like they are running by appointment only or irregular hours, so they were closed at the time of my visit, otherwise I might have had them work on one of my personal bowling balls.
All in all, I would happily return to bowl here again next time I’m in FL!”

“My husband and I just spent 5 weeks at this hotel because we were down for the birth of our first grandson. It was a perfect location for us to visit our new grandson in the hospital when born and at home. The location is great too for access to all restaurants , local activities and the beach. It’s also convenient for remote working with many tables in the lobby or a desk in our room for working. We’ve been here at the hotel before. We knew beforehand that toward the end of our stay that redecorating of the entire hotel was going to begin. Even though there were a few bumps in the road to iron out about some construction noise , the front desk staff were very accommodating and made it all bearable. In fact , one of the stand outs for staying at the hotel this time was that all the current staff were so lovely - from room service workers , breakfast workers , maintenance staff and front office staff and managers at all times of the day were extraordinarily friendly , helpful and just really nice people. I wish I knew all their names because all were so terrific - a special shout out to Keon E and Keon T , Vikki , and there also was an other young man always with a tie and jacket and a young lady too - my husband and I own a busiess and I love to hear when staff represent us with such great customer service and make the difference in a customer’s experience . I want to let Hyatt corporate know they have a treasure in the staff assigned throughout their hotel who gave excellent customer service that remained consistent for our entire 5 week stay . Thank you to all for adding to our beautiful experience having our first grandchild ! Hope to see you soon this year hopefully after all the new renovations are complete !Cathy”

“Stayed here for a few nights. Mostly a good place but: there was consistently a weird smell when you first step in thru the front doors - smelled it everyday every time I walked in. Smells like old cigarettes meets moisture- they do have those “fans” that blow on top of your head from overhead whenever the front door opens - maybe it’s just that. It wasn’t pleasant. The staff we interacted with were all wonderful. The breakfast buffet was well prepared and lots of options - staff was attentive & on the ball making sure the food was restocked. On weekends they have make your own waffles. Fresh berries everyday was a real treat. Our room had an uncomfortable layout. We had a wall column at the foot of the bed that left a clearance of less than a foot from the bed. So not easy to walk around. The “couch” was a high sided wide seat - not comfortable at all. Wi-Fi was pretty good. Both TV’s worked great but the remotes needed new batteries. When we called the front desk they quickly sent up a staff member with another remote with fresh batteries. Pool area and gym area looked good. The seating area in the lobby didn’t promote cozy environment-but there was plenty of chairs/tables over by the dining area. Overall I’d give it 3 stars but the location, breakfast, staff & room cleanliness deserves at least 4 stars.Walkability: There is a walking trail a minute away that goes on for a good lenght & it was always well used by local residents.”

“I have to say...I was highly skeptical about this place due to the bad reviews. I even tried to switch hotels, but my package company made it too complicated to do so. I didn't have a choice but to stay. The property was clean and great. Our room was very clean. The staff was very helpful and professional. I didn't use the pool, but it looked clean. My only complaint is that at one instance, the magnetic card key wasn't working, but the staff worked diligently to solve the issue. Overall, it a good place to stay.”

“This is one of the best Marriott properties I've stayed at. There was a welcome bag for all Bonvoy members, staff were a) so welcoming and receptive b) always cleaning. You'd never guess the ocean was out the back door. Literally, no sand anywhere inside. When I changed my mind and decided to stay an extra night, they made it so I stayed in the same room. Just great.”

“Some face lift needed but...from a practical standpoint, this hotel hits the spot and then some. The cooked-to-order breakfast works and the staff looks to be helpful in any way possible. Hot water comes quickly in the shower and...one of the very few spa hot tubs where water is actually hot. The room's ventilation is good and if you need extra towels, etc...lightening speed in-room delivery. So, obviously built a few years ago, but again from a practical standpoint reasonably priced and...AN EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE OVERALL??.Noteworthy details: City Fish Market is less than 500 steps from the entrance of the hotel. Great food and excellent fish options!”
