“This place is amazing. They have so many things for sale like food toys and furniture all in 1 place. The prices are decent depending on the items. As some items are overpriced.
You have to be aware of comparing prices.
They do have a lot though and it takes a bit of time to get through the entire store. Hopefully will get here again as we’ve only been 1x

“I had such a great experience at Barnes & Noble in Delray Beach that I felt compelled to leave a review.

I was searching for a gift for my nephew and had spent part of the day visiting several local gaming stores in Boca and Delray. Unfortunately, the experience at those stores was disappointing. The employees seemed uninterested, unfriendly, and too busy to help what was literally the only customer in the store. It honestly surprised me because you would expect smaller local businesses to be the most welcoming and customer focused.

Then I walked into Barnes & Noble and had the complete opposite experience.

The store was busy and had customers everywhere, yet the female employee working alongside William immediately acknowledged me and offered help. I wish I knew her name because she deserves recognition. When I asked where the gaming and fantasy section was, she did not just point in the direction and continue what she was doing. She actually stopped what she was working on and personally walked me all the way to the back to show me the area herself. That level of customer service is rare today and it immediately stood out to me.

Even though I ultimately did not find the exact item I originally came in for, I still ended up buying two books because the atmosphere and customer service were so positive.

As I was leaving, William was incredibly friendly, outgoing, and genuinely interested in helping me find the perfect gift for my nephew. He even helped me locate the item at another store and apologized that they did not currently have it in stock. He was enthusiastic, personable, and seemed genuinely happy to help instead of acting inconvenienced by questions.

What really stood out to me is that this level of customer service matters now more than ever because almost everything can be bought online. One of the biggest reasons people still choose to physically go into bookstores and gaming stores is to actually see what is there, explore new things, and interact with knowledgeable people who enjoy helping customers discover products they may not have found otherwise.

That is exactly what Barnes & Noble delivered.

The employees were approachable, engaging, knowledgeable, and seemed genuinely happy to interact with customers. In contrast, the other gaming stores I visited earlier felt like the employees did not want to talk to customers at all. It felt more like they simply wanted to sit there and sell products rather than create a welcoming environment for people who are passionate about books, games, fantasy, and hobbies.

The contrast between those experiences could not have been more dramatic. At Barnes & Noble, the employees stopped what they were doing, walked with me instead of pointing, engaged in conversation, and treated me like they actually cared whether I found what I needed.

That level of customer service is becoming rare, and it deserves recognition. Honestly, it was one of the best customer service experiences I have had in a very long time. My nephew is going to be very happy with the gifts, and I left the store happy as well.

Great job to William and the female employee working with him. Barnes & Noble should be proud to have employees who create such a welcoming environment.”

“Great local comic book spot. Get there. Lots of old and new ones. Statutes. Toys. Magic. Etc. Owner super nice John. Park in front or side. They run specials and events. Been there many times.”

“As always, this Barnes & Noble was spotless. The shopers and the browsers were polite and very intent on reviewing the book sections that interested them. What I didn't like was the absence of their trademark service of providing numerous side chairs placed in the nooks and crannies of the book shelves areas. No comfy sofa or ottoman pieces where customers could review books before they purchased them. It could be due to a high school across the street ( Boca Raton H. S.) or because it's a recent decision by the corporate office. I just don't like this. It's changed the atmosphere of the book store.”

She truly made sure I was happy throughout the entire process. The Main Chapel, Small Chapel and outside ceremony area was already beautiful and barely needed any additional decorations. They don’t care about the students. I don’t see why PBSC is working with such people while doesn’t serve the reputation of the college! Shame!”

“A big problem I've faced recently in comic stores is rude / egotistical staff, but this place is the complete opposite. The employees were all super friendly, engaging, and helpful. There's also a GREAT selection of comics & toys, and it's very organized as well. Had a lot of low prices and discounts too. Will definitely be going back, best experience at a comic store I've had in a long time!”
