“Best spearfishing and freediving shop for literally hundreds of miles. Used them to go on multiple inshore and offshore spearfishing charters. Everytime they put me on good fish, in great conditions, and I came home with full coolers. They helped me get a great deal on a gun and accessories to make me a better spearfisherman.
Overall, I can't say enough good things about the team at Benthic.

He was attentive, friendly, very mannerable, and patient while we looked through the jacket selection. My daughter absolutely loves the emerald green jacket I picked out for her. They had a great variety of jackets, and I honestly would have bought more if Atlanta winters were colder. This store is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.”

“Alvin's Island has a nice selection of stuff for men, women, and children. We found some great Destins hoodies for $40. And sime T shirts. They also have key chains, beach toys, and many types of Souvenirs. Very cluttered inside with hallways so narrow your constantly knocking stuff shalves and hangers. Not very organized at all.”
“My recent visit to JD Sports in Destin on 8/3/25 was chaotic. Customers were yelling at overwhelmed associates who were doing their best, and management was nowhere to be found. We almost walked out until until one of the associates, Gavin stepped in. He immediately helped me and my family, listened to our needs, and offered clear, helpful options. For someone so young, his professionalism and calm under pressure really stood out. He absolutely deserves recognition.”

“They definitely have to change the name because I don’t know what’s $5 here lol. However, we come here all of the time, they t shirts that are on clearance buy 4 get 2 free. The shirt on clearance can go from what I’ve seen … anywhere between 9.99 to 16.99.l each. They do have a great jewelry section ! Beach toys, plenty of bathing suits , boogie boards , you name it ! Very clean and organized . Although it’s not as spacious as its competitors, I do like not feeling suffocated with merchandise within an inch of every part of my body ! I did learn they have hermit crabsss for sale unfortunately I did not see the signs about touching them until after I peeked at a few lol .”
