I really don't think this gym is as bad as everyone else here is saying. I've been a member ever since they first opened up so I got a very good deal. I pay around 30 per month which currently is more like a monthly donation I am giving since I haven't actually gone in a long time. My membership includes the kids club which is basically a like a daycare while you work out. I believe newer members pay a bit more and have to pay extra for the kids club membership. They have all the equipment I need. It also has a swimming pool where the British Swim School, an outside company, offers swimming classes for kids. There is basketball courts, racquet ball courts and saunas. I don't really go to classes but my wife likes them since they offer a big variety from Zumba to Aerobic and Yoga. They also have a café in there that offers some great items, my favorite is their meatball wrap. The parking situation does not really bother me that much since I like to walk there anyway. I guess my only complaint would be that they are not that great at the Kids Club when it comes to very small children. They called my wife a few times because they did not know what to do when our son was crying.

In theory this is a great gym. It's spacious, has a pool, a sauna, racket ball courts, basketball courts and offers tons of classes. In reality, this gym is unfortunately not that great. People don't really re-rack their weights and you have to look for them all over the gym. The staff doesn't make any effort to organize or clean up the gym. I sometimes find barbells by the fire emergency or in the class room. Some of the machines have rust on them and make weird noises. They have personal trainers going around annoying people to sign up for a training with them. What rubbed me the wrong was that when I was pregnant and using a bounce ball to work out (one of the few workouts you can do while pregnant), a female trainer literally pulled it away from under my butt and told me "let me borrow that for a moment" to give it to her client. Now, one of the biggest problems here is the parking or better, the lack thereof. They recently started a construction project on the parking lot and all of the members were hopeful they would build a garage for more parking. But no, they are actually building a super market on the former parking lot taking away even more parking spaces! I can't believe this got approved by zoning. I still go to this gym since the location is convenient and I love Marino's bootcamp and Annemieke's Yoga class.

Doral La fitness deserves only one star for the very few coaches that are professional which are Henk,Diego and Jucelia the ones that I know. but then there is Marino the coach of the sat 9:45 am class (uncertified) I am sure. He is himself overweighted, bad manners, arrogant, nasty and rude. His class is boring and music sucks. I don't recommend overall this gym at all. Its dirty, packed, the manager will do absolutely nothing for you if you need any help. The parking is a disaster, consider yourself lucky if you find one after an hour. I say this by experience. Today there are many more options in Doral when searching for a gym.

By far the nastiest LA Fitness I have ever been to! Why do the machines have rust?!? It looks like they've been left outside up north during winter! Every single machine upstairs has major rust! Also, I came here at 6am and the parking lot is packed and you have to look for parking. I will never come here again and I advise you to do the same! If I could leave negative 5 stars, I would!

I have been to many gyms in many states. Of all the gyms I have been to this definitely ranks with the worst. Key things that are making it a 1 star are...its small and not enough equipment, cannot go to this club from 5 to 9pm,and the most important thing there is NO PARKING...I mean who in the hell decided to build in the already small parking lot. There is a new strip mall being built and litterally stole half of the parking. Bad business sense for sure. Avoid this club unless the weekends.

This gym is not worthy for the price there a better options available if you don't need to use the pool or sports facilities. -Very old machines , many doesn't even have the weights written anymore so you have to guess. -Dumbbells never on the right place -Not clean

The machines are old and many dont work. The space is not big enough (definitely not approved by city and fire dpt). Also they lack enough barbells. In other words, this la fitness is almost as using a Condominum gym. It seems like they are constructing a nother building but im unsure if it is to grow the gym; in any case, the new construction has taken the majority of the parking spots.

Great location of this LA Fitness although I didn't like the parking at all. Small spaces and not that many since. They offer swimming classes for kids and my nephew goes there too. Great and clean pool. I loved how they had the door opened and the A/C off so kids don't get cold.

Terrible customer service and help with requests. I just moved to the area and joined this gym because it has an indoor basketball court. I played semi-pro ball, and that's how I workout and stay in shape. The court is decent, but it's very dirty. I've asked them to clean it a few different times, and each time they NEVER do. I'm not rude when I ask, and I even volunteer to sweep it myself if they bring me everything. This is the 3rd time in a row that they've flat out ignored me after telling me they would get someone in to clean it. It's not that I'm being rude about cleanliness, it's that you jolt your body and shift your weight while you play. If you do that, but then you slide a few inches, you can pull muscles, tear an ACL and tons of other issues. I've already gone to a chiropractor visit because I tweaked my back from sliding here. If this doesn't improve I won't be paying for the next one out of my pocket. The facility is not being properly maintained. I added a picture of what my hands look like after playing here for just 1 hour. I showed the lady at the front, and she said she'd have someone in to clean immediately. I waited for 30 minutes before just leaving. They need to leave a broom in the gym. It's just like wiping off equipment and weight benches. Dust and dirt doesn't just magically go away. It should be cleaned daily.

Nrgize is located inside the LA Fitness. It's very convenient. They have a lot of healthy options. They make fruit smoothies, mega smoothies, and beneficial blends. The smoothies are available in three sizes: small, medium, and large. They have the calories listed next to each size which is great if you want to keep track of calorie intake. Another reason why I love Nrgize is that they have prepared meals that you can buy to take or you can have them heat it up for you and eat it there. Each meal has calorie, carbs, and protein listed. The staff is very helpful and courteous. I'm definitely appreciative of Nrgize for days when I'm exhausted after a workout and need some protein or for days when I don't feel like cooking when I get home.

Ana the sales manager is extremely unprofessional and rude! The gym itself is also extremely small and crowded with very little variety of equipment. We came here after our hotel suggested it to us since we wanted to work out on our vacation. We told the front desk person we were looking to PAY for guest passes. The guy at the front was like "that's no problem, we actually offer 4 day free passes, I will set you up with our sales manager Ana" ok, sure. We wait over on the side and then hear this lady Ana yelling to the other worker who told us his "they can't work out here! They don't have Florida ids! Guest passes are only for Florida residents". Of course we don't have Florida ids, we are here on vacation! We told the front desk that we were going to PURCHASE guest passes and they told us to get the free 4 day option. Then she blamed our hotel for misleading us. (Actually it's your staff and your website, but whatever).Eventually another man came out and told us we could work out today but we couldn't come back because "cameras would see us here without our Florida ids". I don't know why we were treated like this. I wouldn't want to come back to this crowded gym anyways. After this sales woman left another staff member told us to just go to another la fitness location and we could use he free guest pass. So stupid! This is why I am not an LA fitness member whew I live either! Too bad Miami doesn't have The Edge yet.

I've been a member of LA fitness since 2010. Doral, Miami is by far the worst LA fitness in LA fitness history! It's not only dirty and stinky, no one, repeat, NO ONE re-rack's their weights and it's rude! They remodeled the place and it already looks so damaged! Bench's and floors are already damaged and holes and not replaced, weights are missing, emergency exits door are blocked and full of weights, locker rooms are dirty with snot on the walls, just down right disgusting! It's time to leave! What is wrong with their corporate office? Doesn't anyone give a s****
