This whole process took about a month, and I’m so glad it ended with WrkLab. After contacting Herman Miller about a warranty claim for my Embody chair, they referred me to a few local dealers.

I first reached out to Design Within Reach — no response even after two weeks. Then I contacted Pradere Designer Workspaces — sent three emails and never received a single reply.

Finally, I reached out to WrkLab, and what a difference! Doug got back to me quickly, explained they were a bit backed up with warranty claims, but still offered to help. He even suggested other local options like Pradere Designer (Who did not even respond to my emails) while staying honest and professional — that level of communication already set them apart.

From there, Kiana Lebron was fantastic — super responsive, kind, and efficient in gathering all the details needed. The claim was processed within a few days, approved in about two weeks, and the parts arrived shortly after. She asked me all the questions I needed and always asked if I understood the process if I ever had any questions.

When Hugo Zambrano came out for the installation, he handled everything with care and professionalism. He explained to me in detail how he fixed the chair and even informed me some details that I did not even know about the chair. The repair took about two hours, and my chair now feels brand new!

While the process took some time, that was only due to standard approval and shipping times — not WrkLab’s fault at all. Their communication, honesty, and follow-through were outstanding from start to finish.
