“That small town feel when entering the feed store. Guys are knowledgeable and have a variety of items for local farming needs. My only suggestion would be to supply FFA needs for shows during season so that we do not have to go to multiple stores. Overall, the country feel is the best!”

“I went to Max's Ace Hardware because an Auto Parts store told my daughter that they have a big selection of screws and bolts. She went and got the hard to find bolt she needed and was satisfied. So I went myself there to see if there was a slim chance they had a bitty tiny screw that goes in an LED Headlight set I have and not able to use it . The manufacturer or LED distributor never responded to email. I meet Chuck a very nice Gentleman and He said he would give it a shot and after 5mins He tried one and it fit like a glove. We both were happy to get it. On my way to the register I found two good coffee mugs and then headed home and put on my LEDs back on my Jeep. Very welcoming staff over there.”

“OMG I love this store! Everyone is so courteous and helpful ... so unlike Lowes and Home Depot. It is more expensive, but you get what you pay for. At Lowes the employees run and hide, but at Ace they greet you with a smile and ask what they can help you with.A lovely gentlemen loaded six bags of rocks for us on our cart (which would never happen at Lowes) and had them out front waiting for us when we checked out. He even offered to load them in our van.The bathrooms are always shiny clean. The store is always clean. The employees are always super nice and helpful.Thank you Ace!”

“Today I bought ten (10) bundles of firewood. I built a fire tonight in my firepit and the wood burned easily with very little smoke. The bundles had both large and small pieces in it. I used the smaller pieces to start the fire and then added two large pieces. I am very pleased with this wood and will certainly buy more when I need it.”

“I'd say shop around some things are a good deal. I bought a package unit air conditioner for less than half what I would have paid elsewhere. I needed a few pieces to connect the ducts and they were significantly less from another vendor. Enough to make it worth the extra travel and time. If your the type that wants to ask questions, I've never felt the staff has the knowledge to help with technical advice. if you're a handyman pro-sumer type their 4.5 stars if you are a home DIYer their 3 stars.”
