“On our new years outing we decided to go antiquing and came across this little shop tucked away and have been delighted to find a small vary of items that peaked my interest. The lady working the counter was very nice and helpful. She made sure to wrap up out nutcracker in a way to take extra care. They even had 45s and vintage furniture.”

“I went to Slade’s Trades Antique Shop on 7-15-2021 and met Scott and Bobby. Very friendly and helpful. Now I wasn’t looking for anything in particular but I saw a lot of items. If there was a something that you are looking for that is unique or vintage, may I suggest checking them out first. As of now you should call first for an appointment to venture through over 15,000 feet of inventory. They are short staffed and can’t accommodate too many people inside at one time. Happy findings.”

“Was suprised to see how many items they carry! Didn't expect to see bikes, kayaks and even a few bowling balls! Matt L was so helpful in cheering my son up, who had fallen asleep on the way there and was a bit cranky. Before long he was running around the store in the cleats we bought. We had to get some new items because all the little leagues had just started, and they had been cleaned out of what we were looking for. Matt even suggested I call ahead and he would shop for what I need and hold for me so I can be sure to get all used items next time. What great service!! Thanks Matt! Highly recommend this store!”

“I went looking for a pink tiolet to match my bathroom and they had alot of them in various colors and tons of cool retro items. If you are looking for a unique piece go here. They also had lots of doors and windows. The prices are reasonable and cheaper than buying the item new.”

“I like shopping at this store. I think it's very well organized compared to other thrift stores. I do agree with the other reviews about their prices being higher than they should be. I bought a 6 foot tall mechanical alien for Halloween for $75 and decided to look online to see if I could find a second one and the price of a brand new was was only $50... But I like that I can I can find interesting things and nice clothes under one roof and I can get several new outfits for $100. At the mall I'd only get 1 outfit for that amount of money.”

“I went to Plato’s yesterday (Friday) and today. My experience today was so much better than yesterday. The staff tonight (Taylor, Inci & Ipek) was a breath of fresh air compared to the day before. They were helpful and engaging with me. Being that on Friday was my first time I had asked some questions and come to find out I was given the wrong information. Even though I was told wrong Taylor, Ipek & Inci took care of me anyway. Did they have to NOPE but they did. I mean even down to the music was so much nicer. I will call ahead from now on and make sure these girls are at the store before I come back. I truly hope that Plato’s really appreciates these girls because they make a difference for their company!!”
