Car had engine failure mid week. Had to spend time on our vacation going an hour and back to the airport to switch it out. Then switching our car seats in the cold and in the dark which was super inconvenient. No apologies or anything from the workers. Then they just emailed they are charging us 10$ for a toll after all of that. 😑

We had a fantastic experience with Dollar Car Rental at Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport. Even on Thanksgiving week, our wait was short. We had already checked in online. We got the model vehicle we wanted to drive. And the cost was significantly less than other rental car companies and TURO that we price-checked in the weeks before our trip. Thanks very much!!

The service at the counter was excellent! The car was just what I wanted! The ease of transaction was smooth from start to finish! The pricing was a great value! The e-mail sent to ask me to check-in was a completely high-pressured attempt to get me to pay extra for over-priced insurance (nearly double per day of what my rental cost was). I already was covered by corporate insurance on this rental. I am 69 now and have successfully rented cars for decades. I have never experienced such inappropriate high-pressure sales tactics to try to make an extra buck. This one flaw made what would have been a 5-star rental experience one that spurs me to write my first review of a rental car experience!

Rented a vehicle at VPS Airport for vacation. Our rental was in excellent condition and very clean. I would use Dollar Car Rental again and recommend them.

You have to walk a country mile tugging ur luggage from the counter to where the vehicle is parked, the ladies at the counter were super friendly

Lin at the front counter in Ft Walton Beach was very pleasant and helpful. However, your counter was terribly understaffed for a weekday mid-morning. Huge wait times and long, long lines. When we finally got to our first car, we were extremely disappointed as the previous renter had obviously been smoking in the car. We had to ho back to the counter and wait in the same long line again to get another car. While Lin was again very apologetic and courteous and professional, when we arrived at our second vehicle it was 1/8 of a tank less than full. We did not have time to go get yet another vehicle. I would like someone to please contact me to address our dissatisfaction with your company.

Would leave 0 if I could. Had to pass a rough looking gas station up, because of a bathroom emergency for an 87 woman and went straight to the airport to drop her and the car off. I still had a 1/4 tank in the Rav4. It would have cost me maybe $25 if I had done it myself. The unexpected emergency forced my to pay for their price to fill the tank, $121. This is ridiculous. I'll never use them again. Charge a small penalty plus gas, be fair. This was not
