I forgot my sunglasses at this location yesterday in the car (vehicle number 9829086) with agreement number 576071521. I called customer service a hundred times. No one knows this location's phone number. I submitted the lost and found form online on their website. The Destin location was not even on the online list. I had to submit my case as if it were at Jacksonville Airport. I need someone from this branch to reach out to me!

prepaid for reservation for family, prechecked in, get to destination - no cars, told to wait in lobby 3 to 4 hours. No accomodation just we are sorry. Corporate office tells us that reservations are not contracts and therefore they don't have to honor. Hertz / Dollar using a new age bait and switch on consumers. Bait you with low rates, you reserve, get tondestination no cars

Good experience. Booked online on Dollar Car Rental website last minute prior to travel to Destin. Felt a bit skeptical about the mixed reviews here. But they were the cheapest option left. Other vendors were totally sold out or double the price on the dates we wanted. No issue picking up and returning the car. We used the car for 6 days in Destin and vacuumed the car before returning. No surprise fee, paid exactly what online booking estimated. The actual authorization hold for credit card was something like $320 instead of $200 (from booking). They have tiny fine print saying $500 debit card authorization charge during booking, make sure you read that so you won't feel surprise.

A bunch of information and undisclosed fees upon pick up. Paid for car online and said I only owed $60 at pick up. Got there to find out they needed 550 and my own personal insurance info.....won't be using dollar rent a car again.

We used Dollar at VPS for the first time to rent a car. We were so impressed at how smooth everything went. The counter was at the airport and we were served by Shaun . He was very quick with the paperwork. The car was ideal - 7 seater Ford Explorer . Clean and easy to find on the parking lot . On our return of the car we realised there was an error with the baby seat charge with the third party contract . Shaun looked into it and went above and beyond to give us an immediate refund . I would definitely recommend Dollar especially Shaun and the other blonde lady working with him - they were so friendly and helpful - thank you !

If you want them playing games with your bank account for weeks after you've returned the car or need more stress and hassle in your life use them. Can't get anyone who speaks English on the phone . Save yourself the trouble and use Alamo

I reserved a rental car here but when I showed up at the front desk to pick it up I was told they can't rent the car to me. Not only can they not rent to me they can't tell me why they can't nor will they give me a refund. Instead I got a support number to call, the reps there were equally useless. So the end result is they have my money and I have no car, which is why I'm writing this review at 1am since I have nothing better to do while I wait for my Uber.

When we arrived in Destin we has an issue with the 3rd party we had booked with. It was very FRUSTRATING to say the least. TABATHIA was at the counter and went out of her way to help us out and accommodate us with our issue. She was kind and friendly and genuinely cared about helping us!! Thank you Tabathia for not making things worse, how refreshing.

I received notification via email (received/checked on Saturday, 23 July 22) that Dollar could not find the keys to the vehicle that I rented and returned, even though they were placed in the secure drop box inside the airport terminal (Destin-Fort Walton airport [VPS]) at approximately 0515L on Friday, 22 July 2022 per the rental agreement instructions. I spent THREE concurrent hours attempting to call the front desk at Dollar/Hertz at the VPS airport and nobody would answer the phone....to let them know that they keys are in fact in the drop box. Airport security video footage can confirm this. Dollar/Hertz and the VPS airport has the absolute worst customer service that I have EVER EVER experienced with any company in my 36 years of life. I will ensure that my friends, family, and coworkers NEVER NEVER NEVER rent from Dollar again. I'm disgusted by the lack of professionalism and work ethic by the employees, the hours, and the company's ethics. Absolutely, hands-down, the worst rental experience ever. (Not to mention how difficult it is to find where/how to return the car at this airport. Everything from start to "finish" (not done yet apparently), was absolutely awful; exactly what I expect these days from any business. I'm never leaving my house again; it's not worth it.

2 months after returning the car, I was charged an additional $250 without being notified or contacted. Still trying to figure out what it was for… I would not give this location your credit card info.
