Book Stores
“Such a cozy & charming bookstore downtown! My boyfriend and I stopped by after visiting the farmer’s market on Saturday. He was able to find the full “Dune” collection at a great price. I enjoyed looking through the many field guides that they carry on the area, eventually landing on “Florida’s Living Beaches.” If you’re looking for the perfect vacation book, this is your place!”
“This is is cozy and friendly café, bookstore, as well as story time for children (online during the pandemic) and other events. They have a nice roof-covered patio so you can bring your furry friends (you can bring your dogs, too, and leave your husband at home or send them for a wax job while you’re enjoying your meal)! However, as much as I’ve tried, I don’t like many of their food and beverage offerings.I don’t like the brands of coffee and tea that they serve, including their only iced tea: hibiscus (no tea in the tea), so I’m at a loss for what to drink there. I am picky, but I’m not THAT picky. I wish they would change their offerings and mix it up because not everybody likes what they like but the many times that I’ve been there. It’s always pretty much the same drinks and the same coffee and the same pastries.I like their muffins and pastries when they’re fresh, however, I have been there in the morning and gotten muffins that definitely seem like they were leftovers from the previous day. If I’m going to spend four dollars on a muffin, I want it to be fresh and I want the blueberries to be real and I also want variety. I haven’t eaten there in a while now, but when I was going there, they didn’t have a lot of variety in the pastries, and certainly not in the beverages. But, I love the staff and owners. they are very kind and interesting.I have spent a lot of time there and I think most people would really like it. And the bookstore is wonderful and the staff are usually very helpful with suggestions for books and other wonderful items.”
