“*Graphic photo* Yes, that scar is there on purpose! The doctor did a biopsy on a questionable area on my throat. My experience with North Florida oral and facial surgery has been a positive one. Thanks to the kind and caring receptionists up front, effectively managing appointments and keeping everything on schedule. They even called after I confirmed my appointment through text message to ensure I understood everything required for surgery and that I was feeling healthy and well to proceed. The nurse I did not get her name, but she was the sweetest. I swear, you could tell she has that kind heart and explained everything that was happening before she did it to keep me informed. Another nurse helped put me at ease telling me she liked my tattoo before I feel asleep. I woke up towards the very end and didn't feel anything. They explained proper aftercare what to eat and what to avoid. They even gofted me a goody nag with a pen, extra sterilized gauze and instructions on aftercare if I forgot. The Doctor is a great guy, and we've cracked some jokes ? but he did an excellent job, in my opinion. I'm not hurting very bad at all, very minimal swelling, and I haven't started bleeding since I stopped after about 4 hours or so. I highly recommend this office to those who need wisdom teeth removal. I can't speak for their other services since I haven't experienced them. My surgery took a little over 30 mins to extract my 2 top wisdom teeth and to take a biopsy of the back of my throat. Thank you for reading, and best of luck to everyone and their future surgery.”
