The Best Western Ft. Lauderdale I-95 Inn receives mixed reviews, with many guests highlighting the exceptionally friendly and professional staff who provide excellent customer service, working together as a team. Several staff members are commended for being personable, professional, and quick to resolve problems, such as reassigning rooms when issues arise. Many guests found the staff's efforts made them feel at home and would stay again, recommending the hotel. The hotel is described as not a four star hotel, but rooms are considered comfortable compared to the price. Positive mentions note clean rooms, a big breakfast kept fully stocked daily, and an enjoyable outdoor pool. The location offers walkable access to fast food and a 24-hour grill. However, critical reviews state rooms can be outdated with outdated carpet, appliances, bedding, and fixtures, citing visible dirt and poor cleaning. Safety and walkability were rated poorly by some due to ongoing work. Notably, the hotel is undergoing a complete remodeling and total facelift, including new painting, flooring, elevator, furniture, and plumbing. This renovation addresses many concerns, with one guest excited to stay after this update. Despite some outdated conditions and past service issues, the overwhelmingly praised staff and ongoing improvements define the experience for many visitors.
The room seemed fine until one of the light bulbs was defective. As well as, a huge roach crawling on the floor in between the crack of the dresser

Front desk was very professional but the building definitely needs an upgrade. Breakfast wasn't really that great and the staff that cleans the room wasn't really that great because I found pieces of hair on my pillow that didn't belong to me.

It's alright. It's cheap but in need of major remodeling.
