“We adopted Stormie (formerly Noel) from Abandoned Pet Rescue, and it was truly one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. From the moment we met her, the staff was kind, patient, and genuinely invested in making sure she found the right home — not just any home.
They were transparent about her background, answered all of our questions, and made the entire adoption process feel supportive and thoughtful. You can tell this organization truly cares about every animal that walks through their doors.
Stormie has brought so much love, laughter, and personality into our lives — and she now has a big sister, Hollie, who absolutely adores her. Watching them bond has been the greatest gift. We are forever grateful for the care Stormie received before becoming part of our family.
If you’re considering adoption, please start here — they are doing incredible work for these animals. ??”
“They staff was really nice and accommodating. They happily took the baby bunny rabbit who had been injured. They release all animal once they are well, providing They can live in the wild again. Donations are requested and gladly appreciated. Our donation was doubled by their matching program.”
“I love out of the closet! On this day they were having a mega sale on a plethora of clothes in the parking lot, $2 per item. They do that every once in a while but they have the best men’s selection for a thrift store in the area. They have tons of selections especially for jeans and shirts, which are color coordinated, as well as books! It’s the best place to beef up your book collection for only $1 a book sometimes. They also have a pharmacy inside so you can shop.”
“The people are kind & whenever I donate or have a question (over the phone or during my donation) they’re very helpful & eager to answer anything. I definitely recommend donating to this organization & perhaps even donate your time volunteering for them if you have a chance.”
“I love this group! I’ve been able to meet women that work and want to help our community. I was new to the area and this helped me to find like minded women that have become my friends and be apart of events that contribute to my new city.”
“The staff and the program as a whole are constantly there to help. The program is geared towards setting you up for success. My girlfriend is thriving, and I love to see her taking her time, and adhering to the beneficial structure that Felloship has provided.”
“I visited the Urban League to learn about their programmes, which helps people learn valuable skills to use in today's changing workplace. I was pleasantly surprised at the offerings and suggest anyone who would like to become more employable to check out what they have”

“I know many people who work there and they are truly caring honest people. I see fake reviews who make false claims easily disproven, but who would go and see for themselves? A sad slander against a quality charity. They do real work for MS patients. A standard all charities should meet.”
“I found Second Chance when I was completely out of options. Danielle and the whole staff were warm, friendly, and caring. After a long hospital stay, I was left with nothing, and they helped me get on my feet and back to work. I couldn't have done it without them.”
“Thank you so much for your prompt response in getting us scheduled... and picking up the couch, as promised the call was received that they would arrive soon.. and they did!!!”
“Although the facility was not open when the BLS class was supposed to begin (no fault of the instructor), the course was thorough, engaging, and somewhat fun. I especially enjoyed having Noemi as the instructor; she was well prepared, made everyone feel comfortable, and provided an exceptional learning experience.”
“I love it here it’s fun it’s cool there r no bullies the staff is so fun I like cheering and-dancing there the food is the best and yummy ❤️ I love it here so take your kids here”
“My name is Robert Ross, Just like to thank, Ms Terry Whittle, and her assistant

“Amazing organization. They help those who are struggling to help themselves. Professional friendly caring helpful staff..offers many services..My wife has the honor of serving there..”
“They do exactly as advertised. I had one phone call with a nice rep who looked at my finances and income to determine that I was a good fit. Lo and behold 6 months later my score keeps going up and my debt keeps going down. All while don't have to do anything. Creditguard collects payment for me.
I usually don't leave reviews, but this place saved my piece of mind.”

“I want to highlight the excellent service of the young man who checks the tickets and calls for guests to come to the areas (breakfast/shower/manager). He far surpasses most in his warmth and empathy with everyone. (I don't know his name.) The young man in charge of delivering the clothes is very respectful in his service. A man from the warehouse (he speaks Spanish) is always willing to help those who don't speak English. The woman in the bathroom area is always willing to calm people down.
Conflicts. The kitchen staff is excellent in their service. The service provided is good. Thank you.”
“If you are serious about quitting alcohol, then coming here is your first step. The people are friendly, they are nice, and their primary purpose is to help people who are suffering from alcoholism get better. Come and visit and you won't be disappointed. 5 ⭐”
