“I just gotta tell you about my recent visit to Latinos Salud—it was awesome! The clinic itself is top-notch, but what really blew me away was the incredible service and the amazing people working there. Seriously, Luis M was a total lifesaver; he knew his stuff inside and out, and his professionalism was off the charts. If you need healthcare services, Latinos Salud is where it's at, no question. I'm giving them my full endorsement - 100%. You've gotta check them out!”

“I appreciate all that The Pride Center offers our community, however, entering/ exiting can often be an anxious experience because there are a lot of homeless people in the immediate area.”

“Javier Gonzales has been the most efficient more than helpful case worker i have ever had. He made sure in the 1st meeting with him took the time to get me every source of help needed. He is emphatic to your situation and makes every effort to have peaceful dealings with him. Words can’t express the gratitude i have for his actions as a client.”

“Sage is one of those wonderful organizations, not just social, but meant to help people. Its member are mostly gay male and lesbian seniors who, in their words, "refuse to be invisible." And as they further note "We make aging better for LGBT people nationwide. We show up and speak out for the issues that matter to us. We teach. We answer your calls. We connect--generations, each other, allies. We win. And together, we celebrate. " * Their activities take place throughout the country. Amongst those are Advocacy for LGBT Elders * HIV & Aging Policy Action Coalition (HAPAC) * Long-Term Care Equality Index (LEI) * National Resource Center on LGBT Aging * National LGBT Housing Initiative * NYC SAGE Centers * SAGECare Cultural Competency Training * SAGEConnect * SAGE Cents * SAGE Hotline * SAGENet National Affiliates * SAGE Table And one I will note which I find of major significance, a Help Hot Line: 877-360-LGBT”

“Such a great club with welcoming and friendly members. Showcases the true Italian American spirit - I recently joined and I feel that is my family away from home. Thank you for embracing me, I look forward to many memories at the club.”

“Sunserve is a local charitable service organization with its motto of "We Help People," and indeed they do. Better yet, for those that are in need of services, those services will be provided regardless of their ability to pay. My experience with them came after having suffered a severe stroke and needing help coping with the ramifications of suddenly becoming handicapped. Thank goodness Sunserve was there to help. They assigned me an excellent counselor who stayed with me for several months until I was emotionally and physically well enough to go it back on my own. Sunserve has multiple numbers of services. They are basically broken down as to those applicable to youth, transgender people, women's service, mental health and counseling, housing management and assistance, parent support, senior daycare, and LGBTQ proficiency on a fee-for-service basis to businesses. Each of those categories of offerings, however, contains various subcategories of services. For example, within the youth services, there are organizational offerings of events such as Thanksgiving dinner parties, movie nights, sleepovers, ice cream socials, etc. And, they also have organized groups such as a bereavement group, a gay male empowerment group, and many more. The staff of Sunserve is made up of those professionally qualified in the nature of the services they offer or attend to, and with a budget of around two million dollars a year, Sunserve is much bigger and much more highly active than many may think. There is so much to Sunserve I can't cover it or do it justice in a simple Yelp review, but if you're interested or in need, stop by their offices. I can assure you that you will be warmly received. And for what Sunserve does, it does so well and for the vital services, they provide to the people of the community Five well-deserved Yelp stars.”
