“I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn and suites on colonial Boulevard. The hotel was clean, and staff were very friendly. When I arrived to my room in the late evening, my TV only had a few channels working. Unfortunately, I was not able to have success in getting that resolved before I checked out the next morning. Additionally, the room had a couple of plumbing issues. Assistant general manager, Seph Darcy was so incredibly helpful and went out of this way to make things right for me. Not only is he extremely pleasant and friendly, he really seems to want to make his customers happy.”

“This hotel is not fancy, and not all of the staff are friendly. The cleanliness could definitely be improved as well. However, there are several things that make it worth staying here. The location is great, the river views are beautiful, and the rooms have large balconies that are perfect for relaxing. The air conditioning worked very well, which made a big difference during our stay. The hotel also includes complimentary breakfast and free parking, which adds good value. The property is quiet and very relaxing. One of the highlights was the restaurant next to the pool, it was excellent, with great food and service. Overall, despite a few shortcomings, the positives outweighed the negatives for us, so I would give this hotel 4 out of 5 stars.”

“This is an older mixed use shopping center on Route 41. Outback is the main anchor tenant, but don't overlook all the other businesses there. There's a really nice French/Vietnamese restaurant. Was actually here on this last trip for the Escape Room place on the second floor where there are business offices.”

“2 hour dinner with sunset cruise in Sanibel Harbour. Captain and crew was very warm and welcoming. Appetizers were fresh. Fresh fruit, vegetables, nice variety of cheeses and crackers. Indoor/outdoor seating. Servings were perfect. We had assigned seating according to party size for our buffet style dinner. Starting with a variety of salads: pasta, green salad, quinoa; vegetable medley; fresh asparagus. Potatoes; main entrees were; salmon; chicken; Alfredo shrimp pasta and prime cut beef medallions with gravy. Dessert was, cheese cake, carrot cake, chocolate cake. Atmosphere was very comfortable and inviting. Dining areas were clean. Our sunset was spectacular! Yes we would do this again!! ?”

“We Luv Luv Luved The Hilton Garden Inn. Rooms were Fantastic, Comfortable & Clean. The Funnest part was meeting Austin at the cool Bar to the right of the Lobby. He was so attentive & had such a great Personality. He could honestly be a trainer for The Hilton about being Kind, Personable & Customer Service oriented. We can't say enough nice things about Austin!! The other person we would like to recognize was Monica the server in the morning at breakfast. I think she's one of the best breakfast servers we have ever met!! I was watching her and noticed she was triple tasking and asking us right away what we needed to drink & then the next person she would ask if they wanted coffee or juice...she came back to us and asked us if we were ready to order we did. Then she was serving the Breakfasts to the patrons their already & asking everyone if they needed anything...She was just on top of Everything and really knows her job well. Our Breakfast was delicious!!! and when we got there on Thursday, they had a sign up, welcoming us and said we were the guest of the day. Not only did we have a gift in the room with all kinds of goodies. We also had two vouchers for free breakfast. We were Ecstatic!! All I can say is Hilton Garden Inn went above and beyond when they hired Austin Avry and Monica...Great Job 👏”

“I really would like to keep this place my secret because I don't want it to ever be all booked up, but when something exceeds your expectations you must give credit where it is due. I have zero complaints! There is a 24 hour gym, free laundry on site for guests, an outdoor pool with a nice grilling area, a coffee machine in the lobby and a snack, beverage and sundries area with items for purchase. There is nothing more that you could want or need. The rooms are spacious, I was in a queen suite. The beds and pillows were comfortable and perfect for me. There's a desk area work station with drawers which is very large and a kitchenette which features a microwave, dishwasher, full size fridge, coffee maker and cooktop. Dishes, utensils, cooking utensils, glasses, pots and pans are also provided. There is a large walk in style closet with an ironing board and iron and plenty of room for clothes. The bathroom is spacious, bright and I love the giant mirror wall. The air conditioner worked excellent and kept my room super cold. The rooms were super clean I have no complaints there. The rooms get maid service weekly, however, you can change out your towels and sheets at the front desk as frequently as you wish. They also have pool/ beach towels at the desk. There is plenty of parking and it's also free. They are super pet friendly and my puppies really enjoyed it there. They had a jar of bones, that my dogs would expect every night when I came in, which I thought was a nice touch. Lastly I can not say enough about how amazing, helpful, pleasant and accommodating the staff is! I've never met such a great bunch of people at a front desk. Every single one of them always had a smile on their face and greeted you by name every day. I am a night owl and have difficulty sleeping and usually get most of my things done at night, like towel changes etc. The girl that is at the desk overnight, Martina, was always so personable, helpful and she always put a smile on my face. She always offered to help we weather I just was bringing in groceries or I had towels and a mound of laundry. I now view her as more than just an employee at the Candlewood Suites and would definitely consider her a friend. I actually will miss her when I leave and I have never said that about anyone at a hotel. Overall this is by far an amazing spot, especially for the price you can't beat it! It's about 12 mins to Fort Myers Beach Times Square and is tucked away, but everything you need is close enough nearby. This is going to be my go to spot in Fort Myers as it definitely exceeded my expectations and the entire staff made me feel warm and welcomed, especially Martina. Do not hesitate to book! But shhhhhh.... Let's not get the secret out to much....I still want to be able to get myself a room when I need one!”
