I tried to open checking account online but it had an error, I called Wells Fargo customer service and they advised me to come to local branch. When I came there, there were 3 managers, none of them was with customers. The Top manager directed me to supervisor, she directed me to another bank employee. She told me they are very tight on time but they spent 10 minutes talking in Spanish in front of me laughing having a good time while I was waiting to get assistance. Then they told me I have to wait another 10 minutes and "If the next appointment is not going to show up, then MAYBE they will help me to open an account". I turned around and left. I have never being treated so badly in any other bank. It takes only 10 minutes to open an account, its not like I was applying for a mortgage or a car loan. Needless to say I will never work with that bank again. They don't want my money, too bad for them.

The customer service in this bank is horrible!Whoever is the manager needs to really get check out by corporate because all the reviews are bad and it keeps getting worse! I don’t understand why do you work in customer service if you can’t do customer service!

Came at 4:30 and this was my one and only option and they closed there lobby early and wont cash my check at the window. Horrible management and workers can't communicate very well either. And if you scroll down this list of reviews you see a common theme, the owner or manager constantly apologizing for the expirence and that the feedback is helpfull, obviously its not or either you cant do your job properly because there is never improvement or praise.

I went to this branch today to add my wife name to my account. I waited almost an hour. then the manager said you need an appointment and he was rude and one of the employee was rude too.

I went to this branch at 1540 Colonial Blvd. in Fort Myers to open an estate account yesterday and was told I would need an appointment which I was happy to make for the next afternoon at two o’clock. I arrived five minutes early. One other customer was waiting to see a bank officer. I did not know that this customer was waiting to see the ONLY person seeing customers. I was told he’d be with me “shortly.” Same person, presumably the branch manager, came by ten minutes later to inform me that they’d be with me soon but that they were “running a little behind.” This same person, the manager, then went to his office and sat down in front of his computer. Apparently branch managers are unable to do much other than smile and tell you that you’ll be served shortly. That was it. At precisely 2:20 p.m. I gathered my checks and legal docs and left without anyone saying a word. Bad service doesn’t begin to cover my experience - two trips to a bank (I live 40 minutes away)- and nothing. Stay away from this place. You’ve been warned!

The employees are nice so that’s the reasoning for 2 stars, but this location is consistently understaffed. Constantly a line to the door and never more than two tellers working up front. Many customers walking in to see the line and just walking back out due to not wanting to wait. Slowest bank I’ve ever visited, 30 minutes wait seems to be the standard.

The most I’d use here is the atm. I don’t recommend coming to this particular location for help or if you have any questions. I had a question and there was a gentlemen sitting in the first cubicle closest to the door. He asked if he could help me. Instead of finding out the answer to my question because he didn’t know it, he sent me into a long line of tellers who were very busy. The gentleman was not busy and could have easily found out the answer for me.

When I signed up for my account I was told I would get a 300 dollar sign up bonus at the 1540 Colonial Blvd, Fort Myers FL 33907 branch, I waited 3 months, did everything right and nothing... The customer service people told me my best bet was to call or go in the branch where I opened my account. So I've been calling and calling, for some reason it's almost impossible to get someone to pick up the phone over at that branch. So I decided to drive over there. I sat in the little waiting area and the guy that actually helped me open my account 3 months ago and told me my money would be there is the one that greeted me on. He remembered me and told me my money would be there tomorrow... That was last week and still no money... I don't understand what is going on, and why I'm getting lied to and brushed off?? Between waiting, all the phone calls and car ride I still can't get a honest answer. I was actually really expecting it to hit my account the next day like he said and made plans around that because that's what Jonatan Diaz told me which is the same guy that told me when I opened my account the money would be there in 3 months.

Service is awful. The company I work for uses this bank and we are stuck using their extremely slow commercial lane. It takes 20 min with only one car in front of you every time. They never have our weekend receipts available. If you ask, it takes another 10 min for someone to figure it out. Terribly managed.

Horrible customer service. No one greets you. They have you stand in line for 20 minutes just to tell you to sit down and talk to a banker. They push for you call online when that is also a hassle. All of the issues I’m here for is a mistake they made. I refinanced my car with a bank that is more accommodating and will never step foot in here again
