Ichetucknee Springs State Park is a beautiful Florida spring with clear, cool, and very cold water. The park offers a favorite kayaking destination down a river with a strong current; paddling is great and gorgeous, though it can become crowded where people share the river with tubing. The water is crystal clear and somewhat cold, perfect for swimming. With goggles or a mask, visitors can see into a spring opening or cave below and swim with hundreds of fish. There is an easy entry point with stairs and a railing.
The north side of the park has a shaded hiking trail with places to rest. There are two swimming sites near the north entrance, both with clear water. The park provides amenities including toilets with changing rooms, plenty of picnic tables, a small playground for kids, and a food area with a concession trailer or restaurant for burgers, hotdogs, and adult beverages, though it can be pretty pricey. Kayaks and floating tubes are available for rent onsite at a decent price, and there is a spot to unload personal kayaks or canoes near the launch site. Parking is ample. The experience is amazing, absolutely enjoyable, and worth the visit.
Absolutely stunning, crystal clear water. Definitely get water shoes, unless you want to carry yours while you float!

Visited the spring 9/21. Had an absolute time, we were able to check out both swimming springs before doing the tubing which I did not get pics of but was so relaxing and peaceful. Saw lots of fish no gators. Water was very cold and I was shivering most of the time but loved the experience.

Fun, love being in nature with the current takes you down. The Spring is beautiful but freezing.
