Refuse to take payment over the phone and when you show up Their yard is a disaster and they refuse to help load. Having to carry 20’ boards a long distance to my trailer. I will never come back here for anything.

Waiting for quote from last Fri afternoon. Started with CWS who advises I must go through a vendor. Closest to customers hse is 84 Lumber Gainesville. Reached out to Fred Fri 6/2 330pm. Fred says emailed CWS. When didn’t have quote Mon 6/5, called Fred. Says no quote back. Called CWS, and was told by lady answering would be 48 hours from Mon when they received email. (She seemed proud of lengthy process) Called Fred 84 Lumber Wed 6/7 and someone answered on his behalf and took a msg. Didn’t hear back several hours later, called back, same gentleman answered again on Fred’s behalf and claims they have no quote. At this point, no quote is forthcoming. Not sure why. Not sure why Fred not taking calls from me and why he can’t call CWS to resolve delay. Neither seem interested in my customer’s business. I thought 84 Lumber is in business to serve customers and that CWS is in business to make windows.

Always nice to visit a real lumber yard that has great staff. Plus, the pricing and product were better than I could get at the local national chain that does it all….

If you need cedar this is your place, other than that it's a waist of space, customer service is zero, in the past 4 years I've attempted to order 6 doors, every time it's the same old thing, give measurements and style and they say we'll get back to you, and I've never received a call back, never had help loading, the yard is a disaster, and I'm always afraid of a flat tire trying to drive through it, as far as I'm concerned 84 lumber can go wayward just like Moore's and Carter lumber

Deceptive practices and unethical. We purchased a large order of lumber on 10/27/21. We had to rent a Uhal to pick up the lumber on 11/4/21. When we got there we were told that the materials for our order had been sold. We where not told of that being a possibility by Jonah the sales person. We were told that the material was sold, directly by Steven the co-manager. If you want to make sure you receive your materials, do not go to 84 lumber.
