I extensively researched and physically toured a plethora of childcare facilities. As a result, I instantly fell in love with Abacus Learning Center. I am thoroughly excited that I went with them as my top choice for my 2 year old. I can say from firsthand experience that Abacus is not a "daycare" but a school that values your child and fosters and empowers their growth both emotionally and academically. I was constantly in awe of how much my child was learning daily and how much more in tune my child was becoming in terms of their feelings.Mrs. Stephanie Kolb and Mrs. Erin Howard run the center effectively and efficiently and communication is concise and consistent. I would 100% recommend Abacus Learning Center to anyone who wants to ensure their child is in a safe environment surrounded by caring staff.

My son has thrived here at Abacus! He started as a nonverbal two year old, and now he's a happy little chatterbox a year later! They have taught him so much, and I love that every teacher knows his name, even the ones from other classes. He loves it there, and I love that I don't have to worry about him during the day since I know they are taking great care of him.

Several friends recommended Abacus when we moved to Gainesville this past summer. Our 3-year-old son has been very happy here. He loves going to school every day! His teachers and the directors care about him, always ensuring that he is safe, happy, and well cared for. I would recommend it to anyone needing preschool/daycare!

We personally had a terrible experience at this daycare. In my opinion, the two/three old playground is extremely small filled with I believe to be nothing but rubber mulch; and my child came home routinely with dirt on their face. I believe they had 100% teacher turnover. And we were completely dissatisfied with administration. We have been very happy since leaving and our son has done wonderful. If anything I wish we had left earlier. We know some have a great experience there; we did not.

Abacus learning center is a group of committed and child-oriented individuals that do incredible work every day. I highly recommend this preschool after having 2 children go through it. It has good atmosphere, and both children developed very well, in all areas.

Horrible school. We enrolled my daughter because we live in Haile and we'd heard good things. My daughter had never been in daycare/pre-school before, so we thought that her not wanting to go to school was normal. But as time went on, we started to suspect that it might be something else. Then, one day, I came to back to the school to drop off her lunch that I had forgotten to pack and overheard the teacher yelling very nastily at my daughter and some of the other kids. I stood outside the door and heard the way they talked to the kids, and it was not ok - yelling harshly, telling the kids to leave them (the teachers) alone, making the kids cry. Talked to the director about it and she was not willing to do anything - Blamed my daughter. We moved her and she's been extremely happy at her new school, Imagine Learning Center. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!

Both my boys went to Abacus (TWOS and THREES classrooms). Great experience and clean facility. Most importantly, both boys were well-prepared for Pre-K! Thank you Sharon and awesome teachers!!
