“If you are searching for University of Florida dorms or housing near UF, I highly recommend looking at Windsor Hall Dorms. My daughter lives here and signing early ended up being one of the best decisions we made during the UF housing process.
Like many UF families, we were worried about finding good freshman housing near the University of Florida, especially with how long the housing list is in Gainesville. Once we secured a space at Windsor Hall, it completely removed that stress of waiting and allowed our daughter to focus on preparing for her first year at UF.
The location is excellent for students looking for off-campus dorms near UF. It’s close to Sorority Row for Rush, Norman Hall's tunnel to cross 13th Street, and the entire University of Florida campus, which makes walking to class very easy.
If your student is attending UF and you’re looking for freshman housing in Gainesville or dorm-style living near the University of Florida, Windsor Hall is absolutely worth considering. Locking in housing early made the entire transition to college much smoother for our family.”
“I do not give glowing reviews easily, but this place has been fantastic for my twin daughters. I have had sons in other college complexes and this was by far, a much better experience. The office staff was always sweet and helpful when we prepared to move them in, and then again when we needed to sublease at the end of the year. Mac and Sam were always a big help. The place was mostly very clean and the facilities were very nice. Maintenance was quick to respond to any issues. They would have stayed there again, but decided to buy a home in Gainesville. They were actually sad when they moved out. Do yourself a favor and check it out in person.”
“Century Town Center is amazing! I have seen a huge change in the past couple months since the new manager has started. Everyone in the office is great and very helpful at all times. Special shoutout to Dena, Jeremiah and Tanairy! They have made my time here even better! 10/10 would recommend!!!”
“Beautiful property and great amenities. The staff are easy to work with and are kind. Easy access to shops, grocery stores and schools. The pool is lovely with gas grills and the coffee machine in the office is a bonus. Love the gym and the property has tennis courts and an indoor basketball court. Great place to live with plenty of parking and even a dog park.”
“An absolutely positive experience from the moment I moved in at Casablanca West, my apt is spacious, all new, and beautiful. A cozy, and lovely home for us. Love the apartment complex, this is extremely clean, and quiet. The maintenance team are amazing, incredibly helpful, and fast service.

“Staff was excellent! We toured the complex and was impressed by the cleanliness of the grounds, the amenities, the parking garage, and the location. After touring numerous places prior to coming to the Wildflower, we were overwhelmed by the thought of not finding a safe, secure, clean place for our twin boys who will be attending UF Fall of 2026. Wildflower checked all of our boxes and then some. Big shout out to Meghan and Gabby!!”
“Great great great location!! Building is newer and maintenance does their best to stay on top of the liveliness of the college students that call this home. Is it super luxury? Well it’s as close as you’re getting in a place composed of college students . We need to keep our expectations a tad lower in this case. All in all a great place for my gator.”

“I highly recommend Hunter's Crossing, we have had the pleasure to call it our home for six years and we just resigned for our seventh. The manager Christy is wonderful, she is very professional and has always been very kind and helpful to us. Kaitlyn the assistant manager is also very sweet and has always been available to help us. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. The maintenance staff have always been top notch. The grounds and the many ammennities are well kept, very clean. The location is very convenient, you can walk to Publix, restaurants and there is a beautiful park right across the street. Stop on by for a tour, you won't regret it!”

“Fiorella lady that gave us the tour was very helpful kind and respectful! Made clear and broke down the numbers easy to understand. The manager came out was very nice and helpful as well. Even gave me a lemonade! I am very excited about renting from here for my mom and nepfew. Its clean and very roomy and pleasant apartments. Close to Dollar Tree and nice pool and laundry facility as well. Lots of storage and closet space too! I would highly recommend 👌”
“I lived here for my last two years of college and have only good things to say. Rent is relatively cheap considering the proximity to campus, the parking is the cheapest you will find, and the office staff were helpful and concise about acknowledging issues and handling package deliveries.”
“My experience at University Commons has honestly been really good so far. When I moved in this fall, there were a couple of small issues with my apartment — some cleanliness stuff and the dryer wasn’t working — but the team got it sorted out super quickly.
I pointed out the hygiene issues in my room, and the manager had someone come the same day. The guys who were supposed to do it weren’t around, so another staff member (whose job wasn’t even this) stepped in and took care of it without hesitation. That showed me they actually care and are willing to go the extra mile to fix things.
The dryer was fixed fast too. Management even offered us access to another unit’s dryer while we waited, though we didn’t end up needing it.
The place itself is really nice for the price. I was pretty picky about the direction of my room and the roommates I wanted, and management still made it happen. The neighborhood is solid, and if you’re a UF student there’s literally a bus stop right across the street, which is super convenient.
Overall, I think the management here is great — they act fast when something comes up, and the maintenance people are awesome too. For the price and location, it’s been a great choice.”

“My husband and I moved from Washington state to Gainesville. The Leasing Manager Keanna has made the entire process a breeze. Everything from getting approved for an apartment to move in day was simple.The apartment looks great. It looks just like the virtual tour. The only issue is the washer is not working. However, I put in a maintenance request and am hopeful it will get fixed soon. I’ll update this review with maintenance response time soon!Update: Maintenance is super quick to respond compared to other apartments I've lived in.”

“Beautiful lobby with 3 closed study rooms and a table tennis and pool table. Lovely Jacuzzi and pool for friends along with a grill which many people use. My apmt has been nice and clean, not many bugs or complaints. Highly recommend living here compared to some other options.”
