Surrounded by 6 employees…sitting, standing, chatting…doing everything but helping the only customer in the entire bank…sadly, me…and all I needed to do was reset my pin. A lengthy stare prompted someone to assist me, but it was all unprofessional and unpleasant.

I have to agree with the other negative reviews. The staff is rude and ignorant on how to do their job. Customer service does not seem to be apart of their training. It was an ordeal just to cash a cashiers check, that was issued by them.Going to Walmart money center would have been a much more pleasant and easier experience. Lesson learned.

Long wait times, and only 2 dirty chairs to sit in while you wait. Never given an exact time, even when making an appointment. Not recommended.

Embarrassed to even say I have an account here. I’m always treated poorly and met with an attitude, even when I come in as friendly and positive as possible. I stood there for 10 minutes and no one bothered to help me. I have other accounts other places, maybe it’s time to sever ties with this bank. I usually don’t leave 1 star reviews, but it’s needed here.

Tremendous help. Amanda Smith went above and beyond to help us out with some missing paperwork we needed. We were traveling and needed to speak with someone at a branch and stopped in Gainesville. We really appreciate all the help and such a thorough job.

This bank in general (PNC) isn’t great but I don’t mind them too much but this location is the worst one in town.The taller man (Anika) with long black hair was very rude and acted like it was a pain for him to put my checks in my bank account and he made me fill out my own deposit slip. I don’t understand why he made me do his job… besides that at every other PNC bank I’ve been to in town I’ve never had to do that, as long as they’ve been open. I keep my money in your bank and I’m helping you and you want me to do your job? I will be closing my account on Monday after my checks clear.

I've been with BBVA (formerly Compass) Bank for about fifteen years, and I can't speak highly enough about them. I'm just a small business owner, but they treat me like I was Clark Butler. I left a really big bank ("B of A", wink wink) years ago when they made it clear my business meant absolutely nothing to them. BBVA was the exact opposite from the very beginning. I love this bank, and so will you!

I've been with BBVA (formerly) Compass Bank for about fifteen years, and I can't speak highly enough about them. I'm a small business owner (a VERY small business), but they treat me like I was Clark Butler. I left that really big bank ("B of A", wink wink) years ago when they made it clear my business meant absolutely nothing to them. BBVA was the exact opposite from the very beginning. Very poor customer service at the 34th Street location. The teller lady with the bad hair and bad teeth had an issue with me wanting to know why they needed me to fill out a personal w9 form for a business account. When the bank manager came over, the lady with the bad hair and bad teeth spoke over the manager while she was explaining this to me. The bank manager obviously condones this behavior and is the reason the employees behave in such a ride and disrespectful manner. Worst experience for the second time at this location.

Excellent location! I rarely ever have to stop by a physical branch for help, but needed to due to some minor issues with my account that had not been resolved at the Oaks Branch on Newberry Road due to the representative's ineptness and poor customer service at that particular location. Upon entry, I was politely greeted by the sole teller working the service desk and told I would be helped shortly since she was assisting a customer who had came in before me. Once it was my turn to be helped, the teller did a fine job fixing my banking issues and a few minutes later, I was on my way. This is best location for this bank in town. I highly recommend using this one over others.
