I took my Audi Q5 over to Carrsmith. They were extremely professional, even though my car was not repaired because the insurance maintenance policy rejected the claim for stupid excuses to avoid paying to repair the car, but that’s another issue. But I did want to recommend carrsmith. I think they were fantastic and when I do get my claim resolved, I am certainly taking back my Audi so he can do the repair. Thank you for being understanding and professional Thank you.

DO NOT GO HERE!
I rarely leave reviews, but I felt it was necessary this time. The owner was extremely rude and unprofessional during my visit. Instead of being helpful or respectful, they came across as dismissive and condescending. It completely ruined the experience and made me not want to return or recommend this place to anyone. Customer service starts at the top, and unfortunately, this business clearly reflects poor leadership.

I love this place! So many mechanics are predatory and try to upsell you maintenance you don't need - Carrsmith is honest about what your car needs now and what can be postponed and they'll explain why in detail so you can make an informed decision. Their rates are super reasonable and their communication is top notch. Won't bring my car anywhere else now. :)

I was thoroughly impressed with Carrsmith. I took my Mini in after getting an alignment test done elsewhere and being told that a specialized repair shop needed to fix the alignment. Not only did I find out that my alignment was totally fine (the other shop likely did not test it correctly) but they did a full inspection for 100% free. I also got all of the inspection results online with pictures and recommendations. Charles was my technician and he did a great job explaining everything to me.
I was shocked that I paid nothing, not even for the cost of an alignment test. I can tell that this shop is honest, because had I gone anywhere else in the area I'm sure I would have been charged for something.
Others mentioned in their reviews that the online tracker was inaccurate—and I also experienced this—but I just had to call the shop and was able to get an update on my vehicle quickly.

While travelling from TN to Orlando, our Highlander broke down on I-75 outside of Gainesville, FL, at 8pm. I called AAA who sent a tow truck and recommended the nearest AAA approved shop - CARRSMITH. It was 10pm when my car was dropped in their lot. We are dropped at a hotel for the night and I contacted CARRSMITH first thing the next morning (which was a Friday). Within 2 hours, they had pulled my car into their shop and diagnosed the issue - a broken water pump pulley. I had 115k miles on this car, so it would need a few other items while they replaced the water pump. It was going to take at least a day to repair. We rented a car and continued our trip to Orlando for the weekend, leaving our car in their hands. Monday morning, we show up at their shop ready to start our return trip to TN. Within 2 hours, they had us on our way with the repairs completed. Now, their workmanship would be put to the test. We had a 700+ mile trip in front of us. After 10+ hours at 70+ MPH, we arrived safely at our home in TN - with absolutely no issues! I can't recommend their work enough! Thanks to Charles and everyone who worked diligently to get us back on the road quickly, and without any further issues!

Very reasonable price for new 12v battery for my Tesla. Like the way they show details about car on monitor screen. Waiting room has a strong paint smell, maybe from adjacent businesses.

They take their time but achieve their goal. Could have been a little faster in providing info on issue for my visit, Sitting in the bare (empty) waiting room that has two bathrooms for 5.5 hours to find out I had to leave my car (ended up being 4 days). Nothing close by to obtain food or snacks , having to order grub hub and paying 20 dollars for chicken strips to be delivered because I was light headed. At least there was two bathrooms. Service was good once I got my car back, notified at 3 pm on a friday that car was ready. Getting my car and dropping rent a car was a whole nother thing.
Hopefully next time my car breaks down I plan it better.

When my husband bought me a used Mini Cooper Clubman SS 6 speed over 3 years ago now, I was so happy to finally own my dream car. When I took my car for repairs, I bought a worthless extended warranty. I trusted everyone at Carsmith but unfortunately their messaging system was so difficult for this old lady to use. I was very upset when I finally got my Mini repaired to see that the extended warranty wouldn't even let me have a rental car even though my car was at Carsmith for over 2 weeks. My Mini is now 15 years old and only worth about $2,000 but at least it's still mine and has been repaired at Newberry Road Imports. I recommend to read the fine print on extended warranties and call the shop itself to speak to a mechanic about what the cost will be before you drop it off.

Excellent service charles takes time explaining what he will do ahead of time. Very personable.
Im satisfied he found the real cause of a ticking noise in my f250 that 3 other mecanics had missdiagnosed. Fair prices. Will use again and recommend highly.
