Awful experience. I want to open a checking account. I've had the same account over 20 years, one account that is in my name, only my name for over 20 years. 12 years ago my children started getting SSI, payments go to the account I've had longer than they have been on this earth. This branch refused to open ONE checking account, they want me to open 3 insisting each child's ssi must go to separate accounts, for one if that was the case you'd think I'd already have that going on. For two, my rental company requires ONE withdrawal for rent, my rent is TWO checks, so that would be to accounts meaning I would not even be able to pay my rent with the money intended for rent. Maybe others do need separate accounts, but my case does not. I should have been able to open a checking as requested without issue, without being told I NEED three accounts. I only want one, only need one, only required ONE. I called SS right after, they said "just one account is needed, and it CAN ONLY BE YOUR NAME" SO for my case, Chase bank was wrong. You are a bank, you are not Social Security.

I'm new and opened my checking account online, and I had to go inside for the first time . The staff were very helpful and just plan ole nice.

went to this chase branch on Friday June 3 around 9:30am, to update my account. I was told they didn’t have time to help me because they are short staffed and I needed to make an appointment. Called customer service whos says appointments are not necessary. So long story short I was refused help.

Friendly employees. I’m not even a chase account holder yet and was waiting for my grandma to get out of the hospital but I was forced outside and not allowed into an empty waiting room so I walked to chase and was able to charge my phone and laptop a bit.
