No matter who you talk to they are all liars. Service has been crap for over 2 months. They read their scripts. I don't even think they have in house techs anymore. 3 techs out in 1 week. After being told I would be getting a credit for this month I received a text letting me know my $362 payment was coming out on 12/9. THEY ARE NOT EVEN WORTH 1 STAR!

Do you see the reviews? I would give them negative stars if I could. Listen to others and RUN! 7 or 8 Months ago, I returned a modem with a tech that came out. A month ago, I get an email stating an extra $200 will be added to my bill for not returning the equipment. I call in and was told they'd fill out a form to get it resolved. I called back a month later because the amount is now added to my bill. They don't even see that the previous agent filled out the form. I was then told that if the equipment is not found, I'm still responsible for it and will have to pay for it, like what?! This is how these degenerates do business. I have never spoken to one competent person at this company. They are money grubbing crooks and I can't wait for a company to wipe them off the map!

They keep increasing your bill even though the service is the same and the outages are a nightmare. My Internet has been off for 6 hours and apparently there's nothing I can do about it.

Cox is a nightmare that just wont stop for me. They're charging me months after even not having the service, I took it back within the 15 days and am so sad I went with this company.

New to Cox cable and cannot even speak to anyone on the phone. If I do, I cannot understand the foreigner I finally connect to. Ask for a supervisor and they hang up on you. You can do better than this! We as high paying customers deserve better. How can you monopolize a large city and suck at you're service. The internet in a joke. Very bad karma to the people raking in the profits at our expense. Spectrum puts Cox cable to shame. There must be a better way! And I shall seek it.

Cox communications in a gainesville Florida provides awful internet and cable services, particularly to "older neighborhoods" where in lieu of fixing their systemic fiber network problems, Cox insists on doing "patch work" leaving customers with no service or extremely poor slow functioning services, which is essentially useless. As others have mentioned, Cox has a monopoly on this area, leaving essentially no other internet/cable tv options for the consumer. People pay hundreds of dollars per month for these ridiculously priced Cox packages, which is only rewarded with ongoing poor service, to include lack luster customer service and tech support. We're currently experiencing the most recent outage of multiple outages which have occurred each week for the past few months. The current outage has a resolution date estimated at 5 days out from today! Five DAYS. Do better Cox, you should be ashamed. Internet is no longer a luxury as many rely on the internet for work and their livelihood. SICKENING.ZERO stars.

Worst customer service. Have a monopoly in my area and it clearly shows. My ultimate unlimited $99 month plan costs me almost $200 a month. maintenance without notifications. It's the worst

This review is for Cox as a whole. I hate them and everything they stand for. Never in my life have I paid so much for internet that doesn't even work in all four corners of my apartment. Never in my life have I had my bill raised by such exorbitant amounts without my knowledge and without any reason. Every "discount" I've ever recieved has only resulted in them later raising my bill by that exact amount. I've spoken to their customer service agents online and over the phone multiple times and every single one of them has "fixed" my problem only for it to still be a concern the next day. I've tried to switch but they're the only service providers in my area. Just another reason why I can't wait to leave this garbage city.

Horrible service I have the internet only and it cuts out multiple times daily worst choice I could've made for provider. How about taking some of those high prices and putting it into your equipment.

You need to train all your installers on both coax and fiber. Wasted an entire day because “the work order wasn’t right” I ended up switching to AT&T and received double the speed at the same price

There are FOUR people waiting in line with what looks like modems to return in their hands. Meanwhile two very old people are talking to one of only two people apparently working here.Cox has been a monopolistic entity in this town for way too long. There are so many other options for internet and cable out there that this overblown corporation needs to be put down.

If I could give zero starts I would. Worst internet company I have ever dealt with. I had a tech come out who was great, all his tests came out fine but an hour after he left my internet went out yet again. Has gone out at least a few dozen times in less than one week. Switched out the modem at the store, still going out constantly. Reached out to tech support via chat for the 4th time this week, three separate times during the chat they tried to upsell me on faster internet… I don't need faster internet, I need a solid stable internet connection.

ive had cox for now 3 weeks and theyre the most difficult and money grubbing company ive met. dont get cox internet.
