The location is good. Otherwise nothing positive to say. First, the front desk said the computers went down at check-in time. Very rude front desk as if it is the guest's fault. Had to wait over an hour to check-in after a 7 Hour drive in the rain. Then what I thought at first was the refrigerator fan was so loud it kept me up most of the first night. After I looked it turned out to be a vent fan inside the cabinet. The toilet ran all night. None of the dresser drawers would stay shut, they kept opening because the drawers weren't level. I had to tie them shut so as not to bump them walking around the bed. I stay in Drury's all over the country each week this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. All these issues are such a simple fix but clearly not important to this hotel. Definitely will never stay here again.

The hotel is newer and clean, but this has to be the noisiest hotel I've ever stayed in. We were in an upper floor, north facing room, and the traffic noise made it difficult to fall asleep before midnight. After the traffic noise mostly subsided, the hotel parking lot had an hourly visit from someone revving their engine and playing loud music. Earlier in the evening the room next door had a large group of guys making a lot of noise. Seems like the walls are thinner than other places I've stayed.

I like the place but to be honest as a medical mom they have no understanding as to a handicap person or understanding to a medical percent the front desk assistant manager is a very rude person I need to extend my nurses room sense they had her checking out a day before then my check out date and sense my baby has surgery I wanted to give her and extra day of recovery so I went down to the lobby and ask her to rekey my nurses room she new I was a guest there and she also knew I was the one that paid for my nurses room she had a attitude with me I try to explain to her why it was me going down to the lobby and not my nurse sense she was with my baby after being discharged from the hospital in my opinion if they are going to be a accesible hotel they need to have people that actually understand what a medical parent means. And what a accesible hotel really means .

Rooms were about as expected from most hotels these days. Breakfast was decent. The location is pretty decent with lots of parking. The real showstopper, as far as I'm concerned, is the 530-7pm kickback. Free dinner AND alcoholic (3 max) drinks? Get the hell out of here. That, alone, makes the Drury special. The food isn't world-class dining by any stretch...but neither is any hotels breakfast, and you're still eating it. Such a unique and refreshing addition to the traditional monotony of hotels. 10/10. Would recommend.Food & drinks: The Drury Kickback is outstanding. Experience it for yourself. Thank me later.

The Drury inn Gainesville is by far the best. Very clean, quiet, and spacious rooms. The staff is great especially Nishma at the front desk. She is very polite, helpful, and very welcoming. My experience here has always been superb. I highly recommend.
