Gainesville Kitchen and Bath, Tyler Chalfin and his team continues to surpass my expectations every time! As a small business owner in this town, I refer contractors out to get work done for my customers… and this company sticks to their word, shows up, and produces amazing work with extraordinary skill and attention to detail. Most recently, GKB was able to install a gorgeous backsplash, add Wayne’s coating to a dining room, create an accent wall in a bedroom, and more for myself and my customers. I am looking forward to my next project with them, and will recommend them to virtually anyone that needs a reliable, responsive, and contractor on their side!

We are one year post Kitchen and Master Bath remodel. Well the Bath turned out nice except for having to fix the caulking in the shower. . The kitchen while it looks nice and pretty. The cupboard layout is not good. We have one cabinet that the door opening is so small you can hardly put anything in there, plus is goes way back and is totally useless. There were gaps between cupboards that could have been useful space. But the real kicker and what prompted me to write this review is the kitchen plumbing is loose and leaked all over. The disposal was about to fall off and the plumbing attached to it was not tight. Yes it looks pretty but 1 year out and these problems.....The following is the response i sent to Mike via email that had the same info as his response to this complaint:We were told one year and when the plumbing comes apart at 8 pm and floods the cabinet you fix instead of waiting days for it to happen. We have remodeled twice before and NEVER had anything like this happen. We will not be calling you as we really do not want anyone from your company in our home again.

We saved for many years to get our 90's home in Haile updated. Jenna, our designer was amazing! We completely renovated our entire home, new kitchen, master bathroom addition, flooring, paint and a beautiful deck. Everyone on the GKB team was courteous and neat. Everything that they did for me exceeded my expectations, and I could not be happier with the end result. Remodels are not easy (especially your whole house lol), but the GKB team did a great job at bringing me back down to earth when I got a little overwhelmed. Would recommend to anyone looking for a trust worthy, efficient, family friendly remodeling company!

We completely remodeled our small bathroom. Worked with designer Liz to design new layout and choose finishes including tile, cabinetry and fixtures. Ryan the project manager was responsible for coordinating the project including demolition, relocating toilet, rebuilding new larger shower, tile installation, cabinet installation, plumbing and electrical. As with any project were hitches but these were resolved to our satisfaction. The staff of GKB were all a pleasure to work with.Services: Install flooring

Thank you GKB for the two beautiful bathrooms you remodeled for me. Everyone was professional and worked with me to have what I wanted and needed in my bathrooms .Everything went quite smoothly. I know I will enjoy the walk in shower and many other details they helped with. Example, ADA requirements. They were with me from planning to completion.Shout out to Nicole, Tyler and all the other employees . I couldn't have made it without Tyler's patience and support .Services: Tile work installation

I dont know how smart it was of me to decide to do a total remodel of my master bath and bedroom during the pandemic, but it turned out wonderful. Ryan was extremely responsive and attuned to what I wanted, and he made it happen. The subs were great and did quality work. The little bumps along the way were taken care of swiftly and professionally. I ended up with my dream bathroom, and I couldnt be more pleased. When I decide to remodel my kitchen next year, I wont call anyone but them. Highly recommend.Services: Tile work installation

We used Gainesville Kitchen and Bath to remodel our kitchen and master bath. We did not have a good experience. My full review is too long for Google here to post it. See my full review on Yelp. They allowed my full review.

Excellent communications keeping us fully informed as the job progressed. Great sub-contractors at every turn. Because this work took place during the pandemic, supply lines were especially challenging. Every issue or concern we brought forward were addressed to our complete satisfaction. We will recommend this company without reservation.Service: Remodeling

So after all the happy reviews on here, here is one on the opposite end of the spectrum. We contracted with them to remodel our kitchen and master bathroom. We contracted with them in the fall of 2021 and they started work at the end of May 2022. So, here is just a few things that went wrong...1. They never told us they would be working only one maybe two days per week. They showed up Jun 1, 2022 to demo the kitchen and bath. They never mentioned that when the demo was complete two days later that no one would show up until the following week to continue. They had a schedule but never bothered to let us know what it was.2. I tried calling the supervisor to ask where the workers were on the third day of construction using the number from his card with his instructions for me to call him anytime I had a question and he never called me back the entire day. I called the main office looking for our sales rep and she never called me back. I received a call from someone else within the company and was basically told that we are lucky to have someone come one day a week as we lived all the way out here in Mcintosh. After a few choice words were spoken the conversation ended. Great customer service..sheesh!!3. The electrician showed up to rough in the new electric. They wired in a three way switch that did not work. They wired in a light in the shower area and did not wire in an on/off switch and left the light on. They used a circuit breaker in the breaker box that i had disconnected and did not tell me it was active again. They cut the cable that went to the internet outlet. The wired an outlet wrong that went to the microwave and it was not working.4. They measured three times for the new kitchen cabinets and when the new cabinets were installed they were wrong. There was a 6" gap from the last cabinet to the wall instead of the planned three inch gap. There was a two month delay getting the new cabinet in. Of course they could not install the kickplates or crown molding until the new cabinet came in and once it was in there was a week delay until it could be installed.5. We had a reverse osmosis system on the kitchen sink. When they went to install this system under the new sink they did not know how to get it working. I had to get it working for them.6. When they install the new kitchen lighting system one of the lights was going to be right in the middle of the crown molding over the refridgerator. They did not plan out where the lights should be, The electrician just winged it with no regard to where the cabinets and crown molding would be.7. The cabinet installers could not install the stove cabinets because the stove exhaust vent was installed in the wrong place. No measurements were taken. When they went to install the overhead AC vent in the kitchen, they did not measure the existing vent cover and made the hole the wrong size in the ceiling hole.8. We had a new shower planned in the master bath that included a handheld as well as the main shower head. When they installed it they did not put in the handheld. The wall had to be cut open to fix this problem. Then after it was done and the wall plastered and painted it had to be opened up again as the diverter valve did not work for the handheld. Our hope was that after opening the wall one again they would test the system to avoid the wall being open yet another time.9. The guy who measured the shower door for the new shower measured it wrong and when he went to install it, it did not fit. They had to reorder a shower door and that took three weeks to get the new one in.10. The tile guy for the bathroom installed two chipped tiles. We had three extra boxes of tile and he did not consider using another tile. He went and installed and grouted two obviously chipped tiles. We had them replaced.11. Our sales rep told us she was going to check in weekly to see the progress, never happened. She showed up maybe twice the whole time of construction.12.Whenever something went wrong, which was often, there was the usual blame game going on. The contractor blames the sales rep,
