The guys who works day shift is a very difficult person he was stress out cause he had a line but is not my fault i just wanted to do a trade for my switch but and when he offered all the covered for my switch he got kind of mad cause i didnt wanted and he didn't gave me all my credit for my old switch

TAKE YOUR BUSINESS TO A DIFFERENT LOCATION OR BUY ONLINE. The people that work at this location have no idea what customer service is. I walked in and told the young lady Mikayla exactly what I needed. She proceeded to tell me that it has to be printed on the receipt and then ended up selling me the wrong game of which nothing can be done about it now. They have the digital cards for MW3 for PC but apparently it was wrong and had to be purchased a different way. She ended up charging me $60 for the ORIGINAL Modern Warfare. Why would I buy a game that is over five years old? Especially after EXPLAINING to Mikayla that I need Modern Warfare 3 for PC and PS5. I've called and asked to speak to a manager but somehow I can't get a call back. Store says contact Blizzard, in which Blizzard says contact the store. So save your time and effort and go somewhere else.

I stopped by to make a purchase. I found exactly what I was looking for. The manager was very helpful and nice to talk to. I’m really happy with my purchase as well.

I had an exceptional experience at GameStop on Butler Plaza. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by an elderly gentleman who exuded professionalism and positivity. I inquired about the availability of PS4 consoles, either standard or slim, and he informed me that they had them in stock. He offered me a reasonable price for the slim version, which I decided to purchase.What truly impressed me was when he went to the back and brought out the console. I asked if he could inspect it to ensure it was in good condition, and without hesitation, he agreed. This attention to detail was a big plus for me. He carefully checked both the controller and the console, and when he discovered that the controller wasn't working properly, he promptly replaced it with a new one. This thoughtful gesture put a big smile on my face.After everything was finalized, I left the store feeling extremely satisfied with my purchase. I regret not getting the name of this elderly gentleman, but he will surely recognize himself when he reads this review. His exceptional customer service made my visit to GameStop a memorable one. Kudos to him and the team for providing top-notch service!

Store is under staffed!!! To the point we're the guy who is always there is a well u no what ! There pricing is different on website lol than the store always a complication an makes u feel like it's your fault anyhow I see why GameStop is falling out. Do you like waiting on line forever if so go here. Better not have a ? Lol ur screwed

I paid $255 for an Xbox Series S digital edition console. I received a Xbox ONE S “All digital edition” which is a discontinued product. You can only find them for sale used on sites like eBay for about $80. GameStop refuses to refund/exchange the incorrect item because I notified them 5 days outside of their "return period". I did not know it was incorrect until my Son opened it on his birthday. It was his gift that I ordered in advance to be sure I had secured his birthday present.

The employee in the store decided to lock the door with people inside because he needed to go on break. I understand people need to go to break but this is unacceptable. This review is for management not for the employee.

I have pre-ordered three items from this store only for the item or the pre-order bonus to be missing. This seems to be the only store in Gainesville that has this issue. If you want to pre-order anything or want a pre-order bonus go to any other store in town but this one.

Went in yesterday to find a headset make a preorder and renew my PUR. Wasn't greeted, was ignored. The person who came in a few minutes after me was greeted and seen immediately. Ended up leaving without doing anything. I've worked for GS in the past for nearly 6 years, I worked in this district as an SGA and an ASL(left during covid for pay reasons and to expand my skills). I know the DM and this locations SL would not approve missing a $120 sale on top of a RES, PRP and a PUR considering corporate is hardcore about metrics lately. To the DM and SL this isn't new behavior I know things have been rough lately, but come on greeting and seeing what people need the second they walk in is the brand standard taught on day 1.Sincerely, A former Prestige employee and manager.

This place gets 1/2 star to be honest...not sure if this is a company wide practice but went to THIS location at 8pm day before nba2k23 ps5 release. Ended up getting that GameStop subscription, about to trade in some games and half down for pre order and was in store about 20/25 mins. Get there today 330/4pm the guy tells me they don't have it. Says they got them in & sold them, then it changed to the company told them ahead of time not enough will be sent..?sooo why are you still taking pre orders half hr before closing and guaranteed a copy will be there for pre orders????? If I knew this ahead of time I'd have gone else where and have my copy in hand...I would never trust this process from them again. GO STRAIGHT TO THE COMPANY ONLINE IS THE BEST ADVICE.
