Overall a nice store. Provides a free space to host games and meet people. Oddly, they are really lacking in the MtG knowledge of current pricing and inventory of singles. It's like a person went through and priced everything and never looked at it again. Got a $90 card for $60, but everything else in the singles case is about $10-20 overpriced. PSA to owner/mgrs: if you don't compete or at least match the MARKET PRICE of tcgplayer, we would rather just buy all our singles online and have them shipped in 1-3 days.I've been all over the country and the best practice would be to put singles in case with no price, and a sign that says TCGPlayer/Current Market value. You can also double check your pricing and trends on MTGStocks.I love that they do have bulk magic in boxes available to look through (and pokemon, lorcana, yugioh iirc, and more)... very very important to me to be able to browse cards in person.Friendly staff and community. Clean facility. Recommended. ?

Best game store in town besides Punkouter. Staff are amazing, selection is incomparable, vibe is just right. Looking forward to seeing that dragon mural completed.

This store I used to love has gone down majorly in quality and community ever since it stopped being Gamesville Tabletop and became a Coliseum of Comics Franchise. This has been especially apparent in how slow and sloppy the register gets at events. The slowness leads to events starting, on average, 45 minutes late, and always running long. At MTG events they no longer have someone who is qualified to run an event there, leading to further slowdowns, and causing rules issues. If you don't mind wasting a ton of time, the store can be fine, but I don't recommend actually attending events here.

This place is great for books, funko, games, cards. They are limited on comics.Great atmosphere, and we are always greeted at the door.The pricing is fair, and they have a lot of obscure collectables.They also have members' rewards!

This is one of my favorite spots for pokemon cards. They have great binders to look through and great prices. BUT......... Recently they have changed their hours and I have to drop them a star to 4 stars. Please go back to being open at 11am!!

Callie the assistant manager here is awesome! She’s super helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Such an asset to the store — everyone in our community here loves her. Come check out Coliseum, it’s the most welcoming game store in Gainesville!

They have a decent selection, but they do not back and board their books and charge you 25 cents if you want to get bags and boards and do it yourself. I just moved to this area, but the 2 comic stores I have been to have this policy. It makes me miss my old store. The only other issue I have is the clear handling my books was so nilly willy with them they created 2 spine ticks on 2 books. Won't be going back here either. Hopefully I find at least 1 store that cares about the books AND their customers. A little bit of work can go a real long way in getting and keeping new customers.

I've been coming to CoC for a few months now and am loving the changes that I am seeing. I frequent the Pokémon League and events and for the cup they moved the tables out of the smallest corner of the store to the main area. Having the TCG tables out here makes it more inviting to come in and play! Still working on keeping it cool in here when there are a lot of bodies, but having the tables out here really help!

I take my daughter here every other Saturday so she can shop for Funko Pops or some pokemon stuff. They have tables for people to play games on, lots board games and comic stuff. I enjoy it just as much as she does.

The person running the store (haven’t met them before, long blond hair) was very rude, ignored us, and generally made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. Only giving 2 stars because the other staff have been awesome in the past. Not coming back here when the other game shops in town are much nicer.
