This is a pretty nice goodwill location, I got a few Nike shirts and a Lululemon swiftly. The prices here are higher than the previous goodwills I have visited. I did 9 items for 50$ though so it’s still a good deal.

One of the better SE USA Goodwill retail outlets.Very organized, loaded with merchandise, very well maintained. Some aisles are a little tough in the chair, but help is always available.Staffed with professional level personnel throughout. The front end or checkout of this Goodwill is remarkable for a number of reasons. The most outstanding of these reasons is an associate named Ms. Dana. The patience, kindness, compassion, and professionalism this particular associate shows, is a clear indication of the level of professionals this Goodwill employs.I've been in line and watched her at work. I've been through the checkout there on several occasions and she is always kind, even to the customers who aren't.A customer ahead of me in line was fussing, she fussed the whole way out the front door, you would expect negative comments soon after they had walked out.The door hadn't quite finished closing and when those comments began, Ms Dana made an amazingly positive forgiving comment. Her simple positive acceptance immediately changed the tone of that commentary. Bringing smiles to both the other customers and her coworker. The ablity to have someone be ugly to you at work, and turn it around for the other customers and your co-workers?We all saw what happened, we all heard what was said. The strength of character to make it in to a positive forgiving moment, was absolutely astonishing to witness.Look for the sale tags for the best bargains!Kudos to GNV Goodwill 34th!

I give this location no stars. Drop off totally RUDE! They cherry pick what they want instead of what is on their website. There are other Thrifts out there. Will never donate another thing to them.

After many years of spending a lot of money at this location, I really doubt I’ll ever be back. I have had it with the ride attitudes of the employees. You cannot ask a simple question or wait in line for 20 minutes without being talked to like a dog by the cashier. Shamika was very friendly and animated with a coworker, then continues to check customers and give major attitude while checking her phone anc making people wait. It’s every time. She is making them lose business and I’m not sure why it’s tolerated when so many people need jobs.

This particular location is very run down. It reminds me of a last chance Goodwill. Clothes are hung up but everything else is thrown about. There is no designated power plug to test electric items. It's dirty and poorly put together. I will not visit this location again. Hopefully other Gainesville locations are better.

They don't test things before putting setting them out for sale and recently deliberately taped over all of their outlets to prevent you from testing things yourself. Obviously, they also have a "no refunds" policy. Don't buy *any* electronics or appliances from this store.

Decent Goodwill overall, but questionable customers. The only 2 goodwill locations in Gainesville are generally quite awful to deal with. A concerning number of products are used plastic containers from food purchased at stores, and other broken or worthless stuff. They have a decent selection of clothing which happens to be a majority of the entire store. The customers are quite rude, push people out of the way and take up entire aisles and glare at you if you say "excuse me"

Not a bad Goodwill overall. It's clean and the staff are very polite (and definitely some of them have a good sense of humor).Lot of clothing.Prices are as standard for Goodwill and slightly tight, one way in and out parking is also, sadly, fairly standard for Goodwill. For some reason this particular Goodwill has a lot of heavy, scientific text and reference books..and you can get some Extremely good deals at 1.99 per hardback - the three books I got for 1.99 each would have totalled 450.00 new, so for 6.00 that's one heck of a deal (if you're into Microbiology and Quantum Physics). Also some great sunglasses, new and still in box, were there and a good variety of DVDS (not that I own a tv or DVD player).Anyway it's a decent Goodwill, not the absolute best, but definitely worth checking out when thrifting - and all the stories about Goodwill being for profit are bogus, so your money really does go to a good cause.

CONSIDER THIS BEFORE DONATING HERE: I've recently heard a lot about Goodwill's increased profit greed over community concerns, but yesterday was my first time to experience it. I had found a pretty makeup organizer that would work well for my travels among a couple of other items. It was marked at $3.99. At checkout, when the cashier went to ring it up, she said "we can't sell you this, it has to go to our boutique (online) store" - because it was a Vera Bradley. The manager very coldly agreed with her and said that I would have to pay $19.99, which is way out of my budget and since the brand name meant nothing to me, I let them take it away from me. BUT, it made me second-think where I am going to donate items, because it does not appear that Goodwill is Community focused anymore, the money and quality goods appear to be directed out of our area. Something you may want to consider if you are trying to do the best for our Gainesville community.

I had a pretty good experience at this goodwill a few days ago. Found a couple of neat things and the manager there Dustin was very helpful. Not only did he load my furniture into my car, he also pushed my car across the street to the gas station when i realized i ran out of gas.
