Prices are ridiculous

A small but decent thrift store, the stock turns over pretty frequently so it's worth checking in a couple of times a month. The staff is friendly. The prices are reasonable.

Won't hold anything - even for 15 minutes to go home to measure. I've never had that experience at a Habitat Restore in any state I've shopped at (6) or worked in (former Restore volunteer). Sticking with Reuse Planet on 16th and Waldo, it is more buyer friendly, offers a great selection and is far more reasonably priced than Habitat so shop there instead! Plus Reuse's delivery fee is only $60 vs Habitat at $75! Avoid this Habitat Restore unless ready for immediate purchase and immediate take away. Won't return to shop for any reason or refer and why would they care, they made their sale, no favors here. #habitat #gainesville

The manager appeared rude. I personally felt discriminated against. However, the knowledge of the staff could be much better. It went through 2 employees that don’t know the duties of their job.You Cannot Return item. BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU BUY HERE!!!!!!!!!!! & Service isn’t that well. I wouldn’t recommend conducting business here. Save your money & go to the professional businesses. ?

Not been to the location yet to provide an accurate review. But right away. Not pleased the phone system does not give a speak to someone option. NO OPTION TO LEAVE A VOICEMAIL. it's fine I will shop elsewhere. Habitat restores are a 50/50 shot as I have experienced. I have been to several. In 3 states. Jacksonville FL stores are great and easy to communicate with.

I bought a reasonably priced armchair...it wasn't until it was at home in place that I and the entire room became overcome with overpowering "scent" fumes. Someone had drenched the fabric, and batting , with some sort of fabric freshener. Despite great effort the stench cannot be eliminated and has permeated other items in the house. The store denies using such products...which is a lie...as a return to the store revealed it too reeks of this smell. A severe allergic reaction sent me to the eye doctor: $69.00 for visit,$129.00 for steroid eyedrops,$35.00 for ineffectual chair slipcover. Ultimately not a bargain purchase. The liar store manager offered to exchange the chair- but the damage is done and everything in the store is now suspect. Caveat emporium. The lie was the worst part.

The Store manager and assistant manager here are extremely rude, unpleasant and unprofessional. They yelled at me, I purchased a large item and they told me they'd store it for me for 48 hours. When I returned a day and a half later, they charged me an extra $30.

Reasonably priced Restore and the staff was super helpful and friendly not just about answering questions about the store but also the local area. Would definitely check it out again if I was in the area.

Jean was a saint in helping me purchase a table and coordinating associates to help me disassemble it and load it into my car. Very wonderful customer service and I will be back.

I used to drop off used clothes and shoes into AHHR donation boxes (Westside Park), which is close to my home, but today I found it was gone. I googled it and found several others near my address, I drove to these indicated locations, unfortunately all are gone. Obviously these information from google are out of date. And I cannot find any useful information/notices from the organization website. No convenient drop boxes for donation now around Gainesville City anymore? Probably true. They may already change the business style. All pick up by phone APPOINTMENT or re-Store drop? I did not update these information on their website. So when you used Google, you probably still FIND a lot of drop boxes around the city, but actually all drop-boxes are gone, ZERO on the ground. The organization should do better job to let people know it, at least put a notice to show the updated information. BAD feeling.

It's absolutely great. The only stupid thing is that this one offers no help on loading heavy items. I had to help two elderly couples with some things because there was "nobody" to help them.
