Actually had an employee help me load wood onto my cart for once. 2x8x10's located above my head. Why such heavy PT boards stored so high with 2x4's lower i dont understand but the gesture was well recieved.

Do not rent equipment from this store. I’ve rented equipment from more than 12 home depot’s, meaning i understand the processes and what they expect in terms of cleanliness. They charged 225$ for cleaning a machine i cleaned myself, and the guy at the counter didn’t register the machine as dropped off and charged me another 150$ for that. Never again, and you know who you are counter worker, we will never do business with this home depot again.

I don't know how I've lived in Gainesville for 6 years and not known about this Home Depot, but it's perfect for me as far as location, and the staff was super friendly and helpful.

When at the self check registers, having more employees working that section than registers is just crazy. There was literally someone standing right next to me making me feel like I was doing something wrong just by scanning my items. I understand needing to monitor these registers but to this extent? Maybe just put your cashier's back to work ringing up our items rather than having them baby sit every customer that is doing the cashier's job. Just saying. I'm not a thief and don't appreciate being made to feel like one. Other than that, clean location, stocked and friendly enough employees.

I cannot say enough good things about Deanna. She helped us multiple times with picking out paint and giving us recommendations. It was clear that she was very knowledgeable about the topic and friendly/personable. We would come back and search her out for all of our paint needs. She was amazing.

Very nice customer service and helpful smiles everywhere I live the place one of the cleanest most organized home Depot I've been to ever honestly and no I don't work there it's just always nice and they don't know I'm all over fl so I know a nice spot when I c one! Best in fl here .

items are easy to find and store is very organized, had a little issue finding an employee that was able to help me - overall the experience was good and the person at checkout was very friendly. Everything I was looking for was in stock.
