Taken in on time @1:20pm, for an oil change. At that same time I informed the service advisor that I had school pickup, he told me that wouldn't be a problem & should take about 1 hour. At ~2:40pm the same advisor found another customer to check out, he then said "once I'm done with them I'll come back and get you". He never did. I had to find the service manager 30 minutes later, explained the situation & that I'll be late to pick up my kids. He said "that won't make any difference" UNNECESSARY comment. He was not apologetic.I know they're never fast, but poor customer service is never ok.

I made phone contact with a salesman (Micki) who initially was quite helpful with relaying information about the Honda accords on the lot. My husband and I were actively looking and ready to make a purchase, however we had some questions and concerns with the large fees associated with this dealership, ie, the Honda advantage plan (adds $4995) and a large dealer fee. The sales manager, Blake took over negotiations and sent me email quotes that he insisted was discounting the price of the car. What he did though was list a charge elsewhere for labeled as something else that equaled the discount. When I asked him for an explanation he more or less implied that I was too stupid to understand his quote and he would "try and simplify" it for me. At one point he suggested he should speak with my husband instead. He was extremely rude, belittling and misogynistic. Long story short, go to Coggin in ST Augustine, I got the same accord for $6000 less than I was quoted in Gainesville and everyone I dealt with at Coggin was nice even when we had to negotiate a price.

Zero stars.Visit 1: I took my Honda HRV to this Honda dealership for a simple fuel pump motor recall/replacement. They called me that day and said that they were "reading the instructions but couldn't find where the recalled item was located" - then called back the next day to say "oh, we found it, your car is different because it is AWD". At this point, I shouldn't have let them continue. They then had my car for another 2-3 days (this should have been a quick visit). After picking up my car I had check engine lights lighting up on my dash and a strong fuel odor coming from my car. I took my car to a Honda in Jacksonville (Duval). After inspection, they informed me that when the Gainesville Honda worked on my car they broke multiple items in my car, including the entire base of the center console and some lug nuts near the fuel pump, and had GLUED the pieces back together without telling me. They showed me the photos - it was a mess. The Jacksonville Honda was unable to help me with the issue because there was so much damage and globs of glue in my center console and near the fuel pump motor. I had to fight with GNV Honda to fix their mistake and a week later I finally had a new console and fuel pump motor.Visit 2: I came back to this location for a simple oil change because they said it would be free due to my last visit. I made an appointment for 7am because I needed to be at work at 9am. I showed up at 6:50am and checked in. My service lasted until 10:00am. Three hours for an oil change and tire rotation? Then, when I got home, the check tire light was on. I had to drive all the way back for them to reset the sensor/light.This Honda is completely incompetent, will break items in your car and glue them back together without informing you, cannot do an oil change in less than three hours, and cannot handle a simple recall if your vehicle is AWD.I will continue to go to Duval Honda, despite the drive, to receive better service and work with technicians who know how to work on Hondas.

They had a car listed online for $21,000 but by the time they finished with their add ons it came to $25,700!! They tried to explain it away with sales tax, registration and license. Really??? They wouldn't come down from that price. The additional $4700.00 is absolutely absurd. At this point after days of negotiations with them, I'm done and wouldn't purchase that car from them if it was $21,000 out the door. This is why used car dealers get such a bad rap, it's because they deserve it...

Wife's car needed a new sensor, that was on back order. We paid in advance and they said it would take between a few days and 6 weeks. After a month we started calling to talk to our service advisor, Jeff, who said he would be in touch. Another three weeks goes by without any contact. My wife called and got the run around. She finally called and was told that Jeff was on the phone, so she drove in and Jeff wasn't even working that day. We just wanted a refund at this point but Parts said we had to get the refund from service and service told us we had to talk to the manager, Alberto, who wasn't in. Another multiple day run around trying to reach Alberto..Now we are sitting in the dealership, our third drive over here.. and the parts manager just told us that the part came in days ago and wondered if anyone had called us. Honestly what is going on?My wife loves Hondas, she always buys them, but this dealership ain't it. We will drive to Jacksonville or something next time. Unbelievable

If it's part of the Morgan Auto Group, then turn right around and walk away. Even if you give them lots of business, they won't treat you right. Look at the review of GMC down the street.

Misleading "yo-yo" financing practices at Honda of Gainesville. I purchased a car that was "in transit." On the day of purchase, I worked with Rashed "R" Binrashed, the finance manager, on an auto loan and signed a financing contract. In the time before the car arrived to Gainesville, I received a letter in the mail from a local bank saying that there was an issue with the loan. I contacted Honda of Gainesville and was assured that they had taken care of everything, and I was advised to ignore the letter so I took delivery of the car when it arrived and assumed all was well. Then, five days later (after my salesperson followed up to make sure that I loved the car), R Binrashed contacted me to say that they couldn't honor the terms of the loan anymore and told me that I had to come back to the dealership to sign a new financing contract with a higher interest rate or pay them more money. When I questioned this, they threatened to repossess the car. I spoke multiple times with the general manager, Bob Baker, as well as with Kadie Hammer at the Morgan Auto Group, but no one accepted responsibility or resolved the issue.

Let me first say the service department is nice and helpful. However, sales, not so much!! I have received NUMEROUS calls, emails and letters from the dealership for months BEGGING to buy my car so I thought I'd give them a shot and see how much they were willing to offer me. Ed Baker is the salesperson we spoke with. He is snarky and rude to say the very least. He has a 'this is the best you're gonna get, take it or leave it, we don't need your business' type of attitude. Needless to say they lost a customer as a result. Do better, Ed.

****************** charges an outrageous fee of ****** to hook up to computer and diagnose Hondas codes. Other dealerships charge nothing. Then they find something and up sell to further pad the **** to justify their Outrageous fee.

My car quit in the rain and had a computer meltdown. I took it to this dealership to get it diagnosed and was told it would be 190.00 to hook it up to the computer and check the codes. This is totally outrageous. When I questioned the service manager, he said that's the standard charge. I've took the car to other dealerships to have it diagnosed and they charged nothing to look at codes. Totally outrageous. The service manager smiles condescendingly as he rips you off. I don't know how they get good ratings, but I suspect they pad the rating by getting friends and employees to write for them. Go elsewhere if you can, I was stuck because they have the computer and software. What a rip off. Honda itself doesn't care, there is no avenue to complain about dealerships.

I found it refreshing to see that I am not the only one who has had a bad experience with Morgan Auto Group. My experience dates back a number of years, but I felt that it was worth sharing, nonetheless. We purchased a 2005 Honda Civic Hybrid in 2008 when the dealership was still owned by the Raulersons. First off...with all of the news lately (in 2021/22) about going to battery-powered vehicles, I'm sticking with ICE, thank you very much. Batteries are expensive and maintenance nightmares. I would have been far better off purchasing a gasoline-powered Nissan Sentra which (from my rental experience) can get 40 MPG. That's about all my hybrid gets, if that. But my complaint is not with Honda, per se (although, after owning three Honda autos and four Honda motorcycles over the past 30 years, I'll never buy another one). My complaint in the context of this review is with Morgan. Here's the story: Several years after purchasing the Civic Hybrid, it developed a terrible shimmy when accelerating from a stop. I took it to the dealership. The service manager asked to drive it. He returned and referred to it as a "judder". Shimmy, judder, whatever. So the service department quotes me $1400 to fix the judder. They said that, for half that price, they could semi-sorta fix it but that the judder might come back. I told them that I would think about it. I started researching the transmission that Honda used in these cars. I forget the designation, but I learned that Honda recalled the cars sold in Japan with this transmission. Guess why. To fix the judder. I went back to Morgan and told them that I'd split the difference: I'd pay $700 but I wanted the PERMANENT fix. Granted, the car was well out of warranty. But that was not the point. My reasoning was the FACT that Honda all but admitted that these transmissions were s***. After I pitched a fit, Morgan agreed to do the work for $700, they repaired the transmission, and I went on my way. The judder returned about a year later. I have no proof, but I suspect that these guys did the "cheap fix". In other words, they charged me $700 for the $700 fix, not the $1400 permanent fix. Bottom line: I would never do business with another Morgan dealership. And, thanks to Morgan, I will never buy another Honda again. EVER. After 30+ years, I am done with Honda. And, oh...BTW: Do yourself a favor and avoid electric/hybrid vehicles in general. That's my personal opinion. Even with gas prices at or above three dollars a gallon, there are plenty of fuel-efficient ICE vehicles out there that won't break the bank in maintenance costs (i.e., battery replacement). Believe it or not, I still have the Civic and it is still costing me money. And I can't GIVE the darned thing away.

Worst service we ever received in a while. The car we wanted was available online but the salesman, simply stated. "We don't have the car you want" he never showed us any cars and literally wasted our time in the store. We went to Toyota and purchased a car. I will never go back to your store nor will I recommend anyone to go there. It was clear the salesman did not want us in your store. That's okay we got the car we wanted after all.
