I was having some issues with my car that Volkswagen of Gainesville could not explain after 3 attempts to find the problem. I took it to Werkshop49 with jeff and within a couple hours had the issue completely resolved. He also quoted me a water pump and thermostat replacement on my car and told me it would need it sooner then later and sure enough with in a week it started to leak pretty intensely. So I brought the car in and had that issue resolved as well at a vastly cheaper price then what the dealer would have charged me. I also had a severe stumble at idle issue with the car that he was also able to have diagnosed with in a couple hours and had my car running like new. I highly recommend Jeff and the guys at Werkshop49.

Excellent service but getting a call back is a struggle. I have left multiple voicemails with no return calls and would really prefer to come here than the dealership

Imagine asking for a full inspection, getting over $1000 worth of repairs done, then find that your car is running rougher than when you brought it. They miss something (after "full" inspection) then try to charge an extra $500 for it to be fixed.They over charge and under deliver. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this place. They can work on cars, take your money, and seem semi friendly. Take your car to advanced auto parts or something instead of bringing it here.

Jeff is at the top of the food chain when it comes to competence to fix VeeDubs and other German cars. He can properly diagnose problems that leaves others stumped.You will not be disappointed with this place.

Jeff always finds the issue and can get the problem fixed. If you have a German car, Jeff is the guy to call. I have a VW Diesel Jetta with 322,000 and still going strong.

I don't understand why someone would leave a negative review because this shop wouldn't work on their particular model of vehicle. You should be happy they are honest about their specialization. I've been working with Jeff and Matthew for years and they've been GREAT. Top pros and always attentive to my bottom line. I'd sell my second car and buy another Audi just to keep these guys in the family. I've recommended Jeff's German Auto to friends and they couldn't be happier.

I have a motor home, the front end of which is the same as a Volkswagen Eurovan. Jeff told me that he does not work on Rialtas and judging by the time it's sat in his lot, he doesn't quickly work on Eurovans (made 1992-2003) either.

I had to have some maintenance done and had the deal quote me a price. I got a quote from Jeff and it was almost 40% less. I even got a strong recommendation from my car friends that they only take their vehicles to him. Needless to say, their work is terrific. I'll be bringing my car to him from now on.
