LIV Athletic has been life-changing for me. I started 2 1/2 years ago and have not regretted one minute. As one who used to go to a public gym, I struggled there with how to structure a workout and was at the mercy of open equipment. At LIV, I know I'm walking in to a coach-led session with carefully designed workouts and all the equipment I need. The coaches are friendly, encouraging, and most of all attentive to form and safety. Similarly, the community is wonderful - classmates cheer each other on, and I've made so many friends throughout my time. 10/10 would recommend!

Liv Athletic is amazing! From the programming to the people. As someone who has always struggled to keep a routine of working out, I have not had that problem since joining. The workouts are intense, but they're enjoyable and will have you wanting to go back for more. The thing that makes this place special; however, is the people. From the coaches to fellow members; Liv Athletic harbors an incredible environment where you'll find your second family and you'll laugh more than you can imagine. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I've always struggled with working out and staying consistent with a gym. When I made the decision to seriously try to find a gym (for the hundredth time) I was drawn to LIV because I knew I needed support and structure to finally start my fitness journey. Right from the beginning I was coached, motivated, and invited into a beautiful family. I'm drawn to the fast paced workouts and the uplifting community at LIV. I love how the coaches break down each movement and allow us to practice before getting into the workout. I'm proud to say that I've been consistently going to LIV for about 2 years now! I'm grateful to have found a gym that feels like home.

I have always participated in physical activity as a BMX, mountain bike and road bike racer. It's always been to experience the connection of teammates and continue to perfect the art of riding. As we all grow older and our responsibilities steer us away from racing and the connections (riding never goes away), a need for connection and strength maintenance develops. One can train for strength maintenance alone, but where is the connection with others in the endeavor. At LIV, you will train with together in a class environment and that connection with others and the results seen are two of the best motivators you will ever experience. After joining LIV I have made steady safe gains in strength. I feel stronger than I have ever felt in my life.If you are on the fence understand that unlike at a standard fitness center you will be accepted and embraced not matter what your level of fitness or knowledge and you will feel welcome.

Love this place. And I’ve never been an “athletic” type. The coaches, the clients, and especially Stephanie and Chris, have brought me many great experiences. At 53 I’m in the best health of my life! All are welcomed and encouraged, no matter what age and fitness level you start at. Come join us on our journey to a long, healthy and happy life!

After bouncing around to multiple gyms in Gainesville, we felt at home at Liv. The programming and people are amazing. We highly recommend this gym for anyone looking for great workouts, regardless of fitness level.

Before I joined LIV I was never able to be consistent with my workouts. LIV and their coaches really helped me set a routine and stick to it. After the program I saw improvements in my overall health and feel like I am moving in a positive way towards my goals. I definitely recommend this program.

Before I joined Liv Athletic I was trying to stay active at home. But more often than not other things in life would prevent me from working out. I like the consistency of going somewhere else where I’m focused on fitness. I’ve seen good results and have gotten stronger. If you’re unsure about joining a program like this I say give it a shot, you’ve got nothing to lose. The coaches are really nice, and the people in class are fun to be around. It’s something I look forward to now a lot throughout the week.

Before coming to LIV, I was not consistent and motivated for health and fitness. Since starting LIV, I have grown to love and look forward to coming to work out with like-minded individuals who go hard every time. I would encourage anyone needing that extra push or motivation to join LIV and make those life changes!

I started up at Liv Athletic about 3 months ago after being talked into joining by my partner. I'm a grad student at UF and am generally busy working crazy hours, and through the years had given up on consistent exercise and practicing self-care. At the time I had a gym membership and managed to get myself into a routine, but I was on my own in terms of designing my workouts, so I found exercising on my own to be a chore and had a really hard time fitting it into my schedule.I was pretty ambivalent about joining a CrossFit gym and had all sorts of preconceived notions about the types of people that I'd come across there and the sorts of things that we'd be doing. After talking to Chris, the owner, over the phone before starting up, and then taking a few classes, I realized what a great decision we'd made. Liv is made up of an amazing group of people who are welcoming, supportive, and fun. The classes are relatively short and there are plenty of slots open during the week to fit into any schedule, even one as crazy and unpredictable as mine can be.The weekday workouts can be super intense but I've gotten back into the mode of enjoying that, and there's a friendly sense of competition from time to time which is fun. The team workouts on Saturdays have been really nice for my partner and me and are a great way to kick off the weekend. I'm looking forward to continuing my membership at Liv and 100% recommend joining to anyone who is on the fence about it.

Being a part of LIV Athletic has been such a blessing in my life! The coaches and staff are absolutely amazing!!! I love that the workouts are never the same so I am never bored! The coaches always know how to motivate me and I love seeing how much stronger I continue to get! Couldn't recommend this place enough! You also make amazing friends who help keep you accountable and push you to be your best!

I love this gym! I've been a Liv member since 2019 and can't picture my life in Gainesville without it. The community is so fun and supportive - our coaches are always looking out for you, whether it's to help you challenge yourself or work around injuries (that last part has been a godsend for me!) Liv has definitely hit a sweet spot of making workouts fun and impactful while also helping us learn new skills and challenge ourselves. Coming here has also helped me grow into a healthier mindset around fitness and I'm so grateful for that.If you're looking to invest in yourself, grow your confidence, and meet some great people - this is absolutely the place to do it :)
