The staff, (not all of them some are sweet hearts) but a lot of them can just be condescending and lack professionalism when handling certain requests. This is the only Best Buy I really go to since Gainesville doesn't have many tech stores so unfortunately this is my go-to and my experiences here are always poor.

Shopping at Best Buy is consistently an unpleasant experience. Buying a MacBook requires one to wait around their Apple tables for 15 minutes hoping an associate will eventually wander by, finally ask him to retrieve a specific model, and then simply HOPE he picked up the right model.If you ask to see the box before checking out to make sure it's the right model, the checkout guy will show you the front of the box which is absolutely identical across dozens of Apple models. My, how amusing. These are allegedly anti-shoplifting measures, but Best Buy has crafted them so poorly and with such disregard for customers time and dignity that they've created a truly untenable situation. Seriously, if you have any alternative at all spend your hard earned money somewhere other than Best Buy.

Keith odd very nasty when approached for a concern. I'd give this location 5 stars because the rest of the team is outstanding. It's unfortunate that he is unable to have a decent conversation with a customer. Kudos to the rest of the team.

Automated voice receptionist will not transfer to a person. They are the only recommended Microsoft repair center in Gainesville, and can't/ refuse to repair my device.

I came to get a repair in which I had called before to make sure they were able to do it, when I got there they told me they didn't have the part and that it would take 2-3 days to be ordered, I live an hour away so I complained in which they gave me a discount for the drive. Anyways they left me a voicemail saying that if I didn't come by a certain date that it would be canceled even though I had already payed for it, I spent around 2 hours total on customer support where one guy even hung up on me when I told him I wasn't satisfied with their service. Overall the customer service was the worst I've ever experienced, only reason I gave it 2 stars is the fact that the repair was fast and the discount, but the customer service was outrageous at least on their support line

Horrible customer service. Came in for a computer tool today. At 3:40, the host I asked a couple of questions to about where the item was located, I got a half worded response with arms flaying around. I asked for him to take me there and he just ignored me and looked the opposite way. Then has the nerve to watch me walk around confused looking for the isle

I purchased a camera system the customer service was lousy . Before I drove to store I tried to call I was on phone for about 20 minutes trying to talk to a person, never reached a person . They overcharged me on the product for a install. The management is lousy they hire people to just stand around .the employee s have no customer service skills. They over charge on there products it seems they do this to pay for all the idiots just standing around. I have credit. Rated at 730 they denied me a credit card . I'm really glad they denied me because I would have to deal with a bunch of idiots. I learned my lesson don't shop at Best Buy again . All of there managers should be fired.

The staff needs to learn customer service. I stood waiting for help for 15 minutes and multiple staff members walked by without saying anything. I walked upfront to ask for assistance in the tv section and they said they would send Juan immediately. I never found out who Juan was because I left after waiting another 10 minutes. I had a similar incident a month ago at this location but I figured it was just a bad day.

I love Best Buy, but if you are not sure what you're looking for or just want to browse and ask questions this is not the place. Fortunately for me, I ordered online and pick up in store.

Trying to buy an iPhone and no one bothered to ask us for help. We walked up to the nearest help desk where a woman acted like she didn't see us. I stood in front of the counter to allow her to see that we are in need of help. The woman's name was Yuri and she was unnecessarily rude. She acted as though all of our questions were rude and she had an attitude to everyone that asked for help. She is why I stand with the though of everyone from Florida acts entitled. Disappointed.

BB in Gainesville has great selection of Washer/Dryer types and makers. Takes up about 20% of floor space and gets 1% (or less) of support from staff (yes, you will need to call or scream or holler to get someone to help you). It's a shame they don't have anyone to work this section as we we're going to buy a W/D package. Oh well, lots of appliances for sale in G'ville.

Came in to exchange my Aftershokz bluetooth because I bought their 2 year exchange warranty. The manager on duty Mike D. told me to go find another one and they can do the exchange. I went to get it and one of the associate left ok it up and they were out of it. I went back and spoke to the manager if he can order and call me when it comes in, he told me very firmly that they can't do that. What happened to customer service etiquette, of taking care of someone that bought your insurance. I understand that your store is sold out, but not willing to do an order or special order for someone that decided to buy the bluetooth from your store and not somewhere else. That's pretty bad, the geek squad does it with computers or phones when they are sent out or repaired. They call customers letting them know that it came in. I have only had yhe Aftershokz for a few months

They have a guy there named Jay. Claims he is the manager and in the short time I had to deal with him he managed to offend at least 4 people, including an elderly gentleman. That's what he manages. Rude, arrogant and self entitled, then I heard him accuse an elderly lady of discriminating against him because he's black. No one is discriminating against him, we just don't wanna work with him because he is a total j**** He refused to get me the item I ordered on line, and had already paid for. This really constitutes theft! Boycott this BestBuy, in fact ALL BestBuy until this jack@$$ is let go. Is this their corporate culture?

You mean too tell Me ?? After you purchase a Tv and all of the sound equipment ? Best Buy wants too charge you additional 200.00 Too hook up everything ?? Iv never done business with them And this makes the final straw !!!! Too never never do business with these idiots !! And anybody that I come into contact with asking me about Best Buy . I will gladly TELL THEM TOO NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM BEST BUY !!!! Rip off's idiots !!! Greedy idiots !! My money will spend somewhere else !!!!
