Moving from SC to Florida and did not know anyone in insurance. Found McGriff& Williams, checked out reviews and based on the excellent information, we purchased home ins from them. Price was lower than expected for better coverage. Lee was so easy to work with and provided all the policy information quickly. Glad I picked McGriff and Williams!

I worked with Lee Ferinden and through her, getting both home and flood insurance was one of the easiest and smoothest parts of getting a home! I'm a first time buyer and Lee was incredibly friendly, helpful and attentive, answering all of my questions and getting the best policies for me. I would totally recommend!

I have had a wonderful experience working with this agency! 100% recommend.Through multiple interactions regarding both home and auto insurance policies, I have consistently received responses immediately and given informed options. Policy changes have been made seamlessly and timely. Miranda Langston and Michelle Taber have been great to work with and I love recommending this agency to friends and family because I know they will be well taken care of. As an insurance professional myself, I can honestly say not all agencies are created equal, but this one is a good one!

I chose McGriff-Williams for my insurance needs, motivated by a desire to support local businesses and avoid the complexities often associated with larger companies. However, my experience has been less than satisfactory.I was notified via email that my insurance would be canceled in 18 days due to issues identified by Mueller Services in a random inspection. The report, which I requested, was completed 52 days prior, raising concerns about the timeliness of McGriff-Williams' communication.Upon reviewing the report, I found the issues cited to be minor and trivial, leading me to question the company's motives. This experience has unfortunately altered my perception of McGriff-Williams, challenging my initial belief in their commitment to customer service and fair business practices.It's disheartening to encounter such challenges with a local business that I had hoped to support and trust with my insurance needs.

I left my last agent after 10 years as he was becoming progressively too expensive. I am leaving McGriff-Williams because 1) after 3 years, my insurance was more expensive than before 2) each time I’ve called (once/year) I’ve been assigned a new “client advisor” and finally 3) my last client advisor (CP) was rude, unhelpful, and without care to lose a client. The company is great! when they get your money. But fall far short thereafter.My advice, don’t bother with an agency like McGriff-Williams and work directly with the insurer. Less expensive and without the middle person.
