They have a good a variety, but seriously overpriced. I bought Catan 25th anniversary a month ago at $109, and today i paid $150, both before tax. Fine, its limited edition. I was going to get 2 more Catan expansion. They were $70 here each, so I got them at Walmart and Amazon instead, averaging $45 per game after tax instead. Just saying. I would only get exclusive items from here.

Was visiting my son at UF and went in to kill some time and find some comics for the flight home. Super cool space. Owner and staff were very helpful. Tons of comics and every kind of games and gaming accessories. Didn't want to leave!

Great place for comics and games! Shareef, the owner, is very positive and interactive with his customers. They have a little bit of everything, host games, and pull comics for you monthly!

Big store with lots of games, comics and variety. Some items are marked up quite a bit and some are decently priced. In general, games are probably 5-15% more expensive than in other places.

Absolutely incredible selection, and the owner has an inmate knowledge both of whether they have an item or not, and where it is.They even have rare/old sealed magic sets sold at fairly reasonable prices

Best gaming and comics store in Gainesville. Been a customer way back since they were at their original location and their new building is fantastic. Great staff. Usually have what you need and are constantly expanding their inventory. No need to go anywhere else.

This is a review I've debated writing for about a year now, and one that pains me to write. I have no clue how much sense this will make, so bare with me.I started going to Mega Gaming and Comics back in 2012, when I was in the 5th grade. Over the years I formed and became part of a fond community of trading card players who were like a second family to me. I enjoyed the memories made and cherish them to this day. However, when the store moved locations... things just haven't been the same. I'm not really sure how to describe it. The atmosphere feels... too empty, less jovial even. The old space was compact and dark, sure, but for some reason it felt so full of life. The players for my community have jumped ship. I come back to the store every once in awhile to check in, but no one seems to ever be there for Yu-Gi-Oh! anymore - which is sad. I kind of grew up in this store, so seeing them all leave is depressing. I have no idea if these employees are still there, but after moving locations some employees seemed to spread rumors about me and my friends, treating us coldly when we came in despite only trying to be friends with them. The prices seem to go up with every set, which while it isn't necessarily the stores fault, makes it feel a little hard to support the store.Mega Gaming is no longer the store it once was, and I miss it. I know many from my community seem to hold bitterness towards you, but for me its more melancholic. Thank you for housing our community for years on end, while they may not express it, we greatly appreciate what you've done for Yu-Gi-Oh! in Gainesville. Without you there would be no scene for this TCG here. While the store still has product in abundance, I unfortunately cannot recommend this store to others because the player base has vanished and the atmosphere does not feel as it did before.

Now , before I press “ submit “ , let’s just say the little guy who sits behind the counter with the glasses on is going to be the one who reply’s in his typical rude fashion to All his customers with his same middle school comments being “ who hurt you “ “ we don’t negotiate “ or the stupid “ SpOnGeBoBbB MeeeMmE “.NOOONE here is leaving a negative comment to make you look bad , they’re doing it because you guys have to be so of the most RUDE people when it comes to business. We ll all seeea perfect example whe he Reply’s back to me . Long story short . Very rude service , overpriced merchandise , awful prize payout and terrible atmosphere . Highly recommend punk or table top

The store is huge, and their selection of games, figurines, and comics is great. The staff is super friendly, and they actually got me into painting miniatures, which I enjoy a lot now. They also have a gaming night most Fridays if you want to find friends to game with. I love this place, and I get a smile on my face every time I drive by. Definitely worth a visit, and bring a friend with you. This is one of those places that you're going to want to experience with someone. I've attached some pics of the figurines I've painted using the supplies I got from Mega Gaming & Comics.

Came by as a completely random stop on a trip from Memphis. Found a few things we didn't think we could ever find and then some! Pricing seems fair and the selection is impressive. Lots of tabletop and miniature supplies to boot. This is what a comic shop should be

I recently visited this comic store with high hopes, hoping to find a first appearance to add to my collection. Unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. I had my eyes set on a book that they had multiple copies of, only to be told by an employee that the owner wanted to hold them.I understand the concept of exclusivity and the desire to maintain certain items for a select few, but as a customer it's disappointing to be denied access to something that was readily available in the store.Moral of the story: I’m driving to Orlando tomorrow to buy a $25 book that my LCS refused to sell me. LOL
