I backed into a parked car, my rear taillight broke and the bumper was dented. I didn't wanna deal with insurance, so, Mends& Blends was recommended by a friend. I headed there and Holly was there to answer all my questions and provide me with a quote. She was so friendly and transparent, she even encouraged me to shop around which made me feel comfortable. I got 2 other quotes from other shops and they were 3 times the price offered by Holly. She did an amazing job and my car looks brand new! I'll always consider going there without hesitation.

Software companies have convinced body shops to buy expensive software programs with the assurance that the body shops will make it up in what they charge their customers. I got four quotes from “local reputable?” body shops ranging from $2,300 to $3,800 for a small fender and door dent, with 2 wanting to replace the door. Holly, Timmy, and Jimmy at Mends and Blends are awesome. Their “treat the customer right” philosophy is why they stay busy and make a comfortable living, and I bet sleep well at night. Their quote was less than $1,000 and it turned out great. Great fit and finish great paint job. They priced it right and did it right. I can highly recommend Mends and Blends to ANYBODY NEEDING AUTO BODY REPAIR. Go to them first!

I've used this business twice...should of learned my lesson from the first experience. About a year ago I had some damage from a tree that scratched the underside of my rear bumper so I removed the bumper and brought it here. I was told by the owner he'd have it done in 3-4 days. I called on the 4th day for a status of the bumper and he said it'll be finished Saturday. I showed up Saturday to pick up the bumper and no one was there... I called again the following Monday and he said he tried to call me (owner wrote down the wrong number). Being relieved to have my bumper back I installed it and noticed over spray on the corner of it... I didn't want to go through the hassle of waiting another "3-4days" so I just went on my way. Fast forward a year later, I bought a daily driver for my wife. The car had front bumper damage so I went and bought her a new bumper (unpainted). I figured to give the local business another shot, thought it was a fluke the first time. I was wrong... again was told to have it back 3-4 days and called and bumper was still not touched. Nearly 3 weeks later I get told my bumper is ready for pick up after I kept calling. There is absolutely no communication with this shop. Don't even give them your number because you'll be wasting your breathe. Just call the shop if you choose to go here. But again, there was over spray on the front bumper where the lower grille attaches. I didn't care enough to have them fix it because were not planning to keep this car. But overall the owner is nice and respectful that's why it's a 2 instead of a 1, just has no communication and not the best quality...

Locally owned so you get great turnaround time (if parts available of course) and price. Quality exceeded expectations, they even polished my old foggy headlights. Compared prices with two other body shops and theirs was best deal and promised sooner too. Just call first to make sure they're in before you visit.

Took my Lincoln MK VIII and a Terminator bumper cover to have cover painted, then installed. Tim told me 3 days to paint, one day to install so I left the bumper cover with him to be painted. After MANY promises to do the job, 20 days later I picked up the untouched bumper cover and went elsewhere. Glad I didn't also leave the car. He needs to go to a class on small business management and customer service. PS: I actually live in Gainesville and try to give locally owned businesses my trade but have run into this before. Being good at your trade doesn't mean you're good at running a business.

They've worked on my Mustang multiple times now - dented hood repair, new grille and accent lights, and I just ordered some headlights that I'll be taking to them to have installed as well. The service is fantastic, prices are great (Buchholz quoted me nearly $2000 to fix my hood, Mends & Blends did it for $400), and they're super friendly! Can't recommend them enough.

I had some passenger door damage on a 2011 Ford Ranger truck that required the door to be replaced. The estimate for the work was very reasonable. They found a door at a very reasonable price, repainted the door to match the rest of the truck, mounted to new door, and blended the paint around the door to match. The workmanship was excellent and the truck looks like new. I highly recommend this company to anyone wanting a good job at a very reasonable price.

I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for Tim's exceptional service in fixing my car's radiator issue. As you know, my car suffered a major issue with the radiator, and I was in a real bind.
