The staff’s helpful, but they’ll charge 25$ for any assistance after initial setup unless you’ve first gone to the website/app and something’s wrong on their end.

Worst customer service, they charge you extra on a lot of things.
They do all they can to get the most out of their customers

Edit~
Called and spoke with the manager today and discovered so many lies we've been told!
He wasn't on vacation in November as we were told. They can waive fees and not have them affect service(a lie, our phones we're shut off for the waived fee). They have no ability to help resolve this situation. His answer was support doesn't understand how the company works.
They knowingly sold us a product that wasn't compatible for our address, after 2.5 months of back and forth. New people are working and not able to answer any questions about why it was sold to us knowing it wouldn't work.

Staff is very helpful, and not pressuring at all; they were however having technical issues during my visit which was a minor inconvenience.

50 dolla a month can't beat that price. But tons of hidden fees not worth it if you get a new phone they charge 200-300 to keep your number

Been here twice and staff always look bored, disinterested, or annoyed at having to help. The first time I went, to get a new phone, the staff didn't bother properly setting it up despite me asking for help. I was starting to transfer my contacts over manually before I finally figured out how to finish setting it up myself. Last time I went here to sign up for the government discount program and they didn't know how to do it and told me to do it myself at home, despite the Metro website telling me I had to do it in the store. They finally got it to work by calling Indian tech support. While I was there, another customer was trying to figure out how to pay her bill and they completely ignored her unless she shouted directly at them. She couldn't get the machine inside to work, and the machine outside was broken, and they told her there would be an additional charge for her to receive assistance at the counter. She even asked for the manager and was told he's in a meeting - to which she responded that he's been in a meeting the last 4 times she came in. The only reason I'm giving this higher than 1 star is because I did eventually get a nice new phone and the discount. But it was like pulling teeth.

Almost always metro offered free phone cases and screen protectors with a new phone now they dont so they lost a sell yesterday over the ridiculous price of fifty bucks for a case and screen protector i refused to pay that much when all the others will throw that in when you buy a new phone

I miss the corporate store. Went in to get service switched yesterday and was going to get the deal advertised online for a phone just to be told the deal online was from "corporate" and they don't have the same deal in the store. Problem is theres no corporate stores left so where is the deal actually valid at? A free phone, first months service of $65 and $25 activation fee as advertised online turns out to be $170 out the door for a phone at this location. So I took my business and 3 lines to another carrier and spread the word among friends thinking of switching to Metro to avoid this location like the plague. I get the franchise owners make more off of the upcharges than they do in activation of service but they lost a customer (3 really) yesterday. Their explanation about it being corporate doesn't sit with me well as for instance the commercials you see for McDonald's are from "corporate" yet the franchise owners have to honor them. So why doesn't Metro franchises have to honor their corporate sales? Stay away from here unless you just like getting screwed over by a greedy business.
