I deeply regret having cut my hair there, Helen did not give me a haircut even remotely close to what I asked for and I left the place looking 10 years older than I am.

Helen is sweet and kind and gets to the point! I came in with two pictures, and she cut my hair according to the photos. She also suggested ways to wash and style my fine, curly hair, and the level of conversation was comfortable without being overbearing like some hairstylists can be. She also gives nice shampoos with teatree oil and massages as well. I will come here again for a hair trim, and maybe a manicure one day, too!

Nice lady. Good Hair Cut. Bad highlights.*All photos taken within 30 minutes of leaving appointment.*I made an appointment for a hair cut and blonde highlights with "whichever stylist is the best at blonde highlights". Helen made me an appointment with herself. I showed a picture of what I was going for (very blonde hair) and asked if it could be done and she said told me it could. To be fair, after consulting elsewhere, it sounds like it wouldn't have worked due to us having different natural hair colors.While I wanted blended, blonde highlights that would overall lighten my hair color for summer, I received chunky, uneven highlights. I have splotches in my hair from where the chemicals bled out of the foil wraps. Some areas of my hair also very quickly went brassy. The highlights started farther from my root than they should have, which made it look like they had already grown out. Helen kept complimenting me at the end on how good it looked.The next day I went back for a refund. She repeatedly offered to add more blonde; however, I declined as I need to go elsewhere to fix it. Since the hair cut was good, I had no problem paying for that. Helen attempted to charge me $20 more than she had previously quoted me for a haircut. Turns out she was trying to get me to cover the cost of the chemicals she used. When I disagreed, she relented, and said her business had been there a long time and she wanted clients happy.Service: Haircut

Worse place I've ever been for a cut. She didn't take her time to ask me what I wanted, and then didn't listen when I told her. The salon was dirty with hair everywhere as well. She had no other customers either. She turned the chair sideways so I couldn't see what she was cutting for the entire cut! I should have gotten up and walked out at that point. When I got home, the cut was much shorter than I had asked for and it was short layered, not long layers so it puffs up a lot on the top. I have curly hair. I will never go back there and wouldn't recommend it to anyone!

First time as a customer: Helen is attentive and professional -- she provided suggestions and advice but also wanted to meet my needs and fulfil my original request. She gave me a cut and highlights to help accommodate my silvering hair that's been dyed darker -- and I love it! She did it so that I can come in for only quarterly touch ups vs coloring frequently. She was wonderful. It's also a pretty zen experience as she is focused and minimally chatty but nice and friendly. It was relaxing and enjoyable. Loved her!

went in without a set style so it was mostly up to her, and she absolutely rocked it! best haircut and style i’ve ever had! definitely going back she knows what she’s doingedit: went back and another lady cut my hair completely different than what i asked and styled it halfway at the end. not very happy w it but like i said it was a different ladyService: Hairstyling
