“Steve is a straight up guy, very honest! We sent my son's SUV in for a noise we thought was a CV joint, but turned out to be a serious engine issue. My son is a college student in Gainesville and does not have the funds for big repairs. Steve informed us of what was going on which was not worth fixing, did not charge us for his diagnosis and even offered free oil to help get the vehicle along, which lasted him a other couple of months. After that, we purchased an new vehicle for our son and Steve refered us to a great VW shop to handle that car's service needs. Can't say how much we appreciate Steve's time & honesty. Thank you!”

“Usually service is fine. Just be mindful of rushing customers out. Out of the 16 items on this checklist I know for certain 6 weren’t done even though stated it was. I had to stop and buy my own windshield wiper fluid since I was completely out and they didn’t bother to check. Please try not to fall into the motions. I expect the full service I’m paying for — every time. Thank you.”

This shop has: fixed my AC, changed my tire sensor, diagnose + fixed my engine, and other car maintenance. You can also chill in their lobby while you wait. Quick, clean service. “Yesterday was my first time at Dave Mays. I had a wonderful experience from start to finish. When I arrived to my appointment a mechanic rode with me in my car so he could hear the noises I was describing. The entire staff was welcoming and respectful!
My car was diagnosed quickly and they explained to me in detail what was wrong and a plan with the cost to fix it.
They even let me know some future recommended maintenance and the cost so I could plan for my future visit.
My car has been doing great since being in the shop and I couldn't be happier!

“I was blessed to find Tommy's Autoworks. After years using a different auto shop that never really fixed my car or the air conditioning and charging me a hefty amount I decided to use a different one. Tommy's Autoshop was very reasonable and fixed all the problems I was having with my 2011 Jeep Liberty, I had to put a new altenator and I was charged $401.00 (other's wanted fom $900.00 to $1,200.00) They fixed my a/c that now is working perfectly. The windshield wiper fluid had not been working and they fix that as well. They did allot of work in my car and all for under $1,00.00. I highly recommend them. As far as I am concerned they are the best! Thank you Tommy's Autoworks for a job well done.”
“This Jiffy Lube is very quick and their customer service is pretty good. They did push a little on getting my filters replaced which was annoying but I know that's their job. They are nowhere near as pushy as Tires Plus but they do cost a little more. If you want an oil change in 15 minutes without a wait come here. They give shands employee discount and have coupons online.”
“I've been seeing these folks for about 2 and a half years since I moved here. The staff here are all knowledgeable, kind, and reasonably accommodating. It's good vehicle maintenance too for a price that doesn't burn a hold through my wallet. They deserve every star, after helping me with a month long ordeal that I had been dealing with in my Hyundai. Never had issues at this place. “These folks ALWAYS take amazing care of me. Been with them for many years with different vehicles and they always do right by me. My car was vandalized yesterday when someone tried to steal the computer out of my car and I asked them to evaluate the damage. They took me in immediately. And they refused payment!!!!!! Amazing people.
