Absolute worst of the worst! If you can avoid to go there for your car service please do. It takes them about a month to get you an appointment, and once you have your appointment... you will have to wait a week or two weeks to get your car checked, not even fixed! Their customer service is awful... stay away if you have a warranty claim with them.

I will not use Parks Ford in Gainesville again. I had my truck towed in for a diagnostic. I told the service guy what was going on and to make a long story short the tech said that it needed a new wiring harness which I had mentioned when brining it in. They told me for the part was $1300 and then the total for labor and part would be $3200. Well the part on their website is only $980. I have a pic of it to prove. He also said once we get it running there is no telling what other problems we will find. We kindly told them that we would not be doing it that it was just to much. He said well you owe $572 for the diagnostics and to have the part put back. Now mind you they didn't even do a full diagnostic of the vehicle because the truck would not crank. I told him that I would pay for the diagnostic but not the other. We didn't even get to use the part. My uncle was helping with the bill so when I had the tow truck come pick it up they could not leave because the bill was still not yet resolved. I even contacted the service guy that morning to make sure everything was good for the truck driver to come pick it up and he never said anything to me about nothing being taken care of. After arguing about the bill my dad paid and we left. We took the truck to another shop and within 30 minutes the mechanic found out what was wrong. It was not the wiring harness and the $3200 I would have spent would have been for nothing and I would still have a broken down truck. Also trying to get Parks Ford service center to even answer your phone call or return your call is about impossible. I and my uncle would be placed on hold for a very long time and usually not get answered. The only quick responses we got was when they wanted that bill paid....I don't recommend using their service center. I paid a lot for absolutely nothing in return.

Today I spoke with Eric the service manager about my continued disappointment with Parks Ford. He was sympathetic but has no concrete plans to change this dealership. I won't be going back. You can read my previous reviews. Parks Ford needs to change. People have busy lives and cannot wait 3 weeks for their repair. Fish stinks from the head and Parks Ford needs to clean house starting with the service department. If they cannot repair the product they sell in a timely fashion, they should shut their doors. Sorry Eric but your need to be right is very evident in your explanations. It's not about COVID or the workforce decline. It's about the management (or lack of) at Parks Ford. Welcome to Florida.

One cannot get through on the phone lines - parts department answer, immediately place you on hold, go round on telephony and then call gets cut ✂️

DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM HERE!They do not stand behind their vehicles, we have an aviator with 30,000 miles that has constant issues. They have broken out a window and now have burnt holes in the seat, and refuse to fix the vehicle. The electronics do not work and the dealership refuses to fix the problems that are still under warranty.

I ordered a new truck from them, and the minute I turned the key, there were two different warning lights on. They had my truck on the lot for a couple of days after it was delivered there so that they could inspect it. Well, I guess their inspection didn't include turning the truck on. If I didn't have free oil changes I would not go here. Every time I go it's a battle. I ordered and accessory from the Ford website and it said how much would be charged for installation. They tried to charge me $90 more than the Ford website said. I argued with the guy and had to get the manager involved. They finally gave it to me at the price on the Ford website. Also, calling them is no good. I have timed the several calls I've had to make and someone will answer, then you are on hold forever.I'll probably go to Ocala once my promo oil changes are over......

I was reamed so hard by the parts / service department here that I should have a Law and Order: SVU episode dedicated to my story.I was 5 miles in to a trip to West Virginyee in my 2014 F450 'Ambulance' that I converted in to a tiny home (rat hole) when I got the dreaded "Speed limited in xx miles" code. I promptly turned around and went "home" to my random parking lot. Apparently, thanks to the EPA, these modern diesels can be bricked when an emissions component acts up. More on that later...I pulled the code and knew it was the DEF heater. So I called every single shop within 25 miles and this was the only place that would work on my truck that wasn't "backlogged at least 2 weeks". I couldn't leave my truck at a shop that long because I literally live in it. While this is a job I could definitely do myself, I don't have a place nearby where I could safely work on the truck.I pull in to the service bay and eventually I'm helped by Levi. As far as service goes, Levi and the mechanic were great - no gripe there. I explain my situation to Levi and told him I was sure it was the DEF heater. He checks if they have one in stock - they did. He said he can get me in same day but would have to scan / diagnose before replacing. I hand him the keys and get a call 2 hours later saying I need to DEF heater. I researched the install and part beforehand and knew that a cheap aftermarket replacement was $250, quality (Bosch) aftermarker was in the $300 range and I read on forums of people paying $400-500 for this part from their dealership. I was expecting a $1000 ish job (including labor) on the high end - which is quite a bit when you're homeless and unemployed.$1700 was the damage. The grossly insulting thing is that they charged me $957.60 for the part alone. The part (BC3Z 5J225 M) is listed at a MSRP of $550 on the genuine Ford website. That's right... a cool $400 mark up. While I very much appreciate the fast turn around, I don't appreciate being ripped off this hard. The individual that marks these parts up like that should be ashamed of themselves. Taking advantage of people like that... deplorable. Side rant; The greater issue here is the federal government, specifically the "EPA". Yet another 3 letter agency out to molest the lower and middle class. Even though this part had nothing to do with engine performance, the second it acts up then the computer greatly limits the truck's power and eventually limits it's speed to 5mph for no freakin reason. Same with any other "emissions" part. The federally mandated emissions systems for these trucks have over 20 components that range in cost from $300 - $3000+ each component. Do these things NEED to be that expensive? Absolutely not but these manufacturers take advantage of the fact that the components / system are federally mandated and they know they can charge you whatever they want. You either pay the insane upkeep on these diesels or delete it and face multi-thousand dollar fines. Yet another clever scheme by the fed to put more money into the pockets of big businesses and poop all over the american people. Protecting the environment is a great idea but this is just another racket like the war machine or the recent big pharmaceutical pocket plumping scheme.

I dropped my car off only to find out a week later that the technician was on vacation. Another week and over $100 in Ubers later, I got my car back. What seemed like a complicated electrical issue was just a bad battery - something I could have taken care of at an AutoZone. I spoke with the manager to request a reduction in price/refund of the Uber cost and they took only $20 off the total. I am very disappointed with the customer service, lack of communication, and compensation.

This dealership is redeeming themselves. They now have a VERY VERY lovely and pleasant greeter that meets you at your car when you pull in. This person completely changes the experience for service. They are also sending coupons via mail that they apply to my bill. Great moves!

Absolutely by far, the worst of the worst dealership I've ever encountered.I've been with Nissan, Chevy, Buick, Audi, and Volkswagen.Of all the dealerships, Parks Ford has been by far the absolute worse I've ever dealt with.Customer Service is disgusting. The people are careless. Communication skills, just horrid. Not to mention, they broke my antenna on my car.I went through hell and high waters getting it replaced.Literally was calling attorneys because I got so sick of excuse after excuse after excuse.Just stay away from this place.
