Very small store compared to other PetSmarts I’ve visited and they didn’t have what I was looking for but staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and I still managed to find a few things to buy my new four legged fur baby

This is an older, smaller store so the selection is limited. Employee was nice enough.

Worst groomers! We have been loyal to this location for five years but the place has really gone downhill. Many times having our appointments canceled since no one showed up to work. Today we were told we could not put bring our dog to get groomed anymore when we have never had any issues with any groomers. Avoid groomer Sarah B. She accused our dog of biting her and even though our notes on our account is to not groom his face and he's never bit anyone. We will be giving our service instead to our vet.

Groomer was super rude in general and judgy about my dog having some matting. (She spends a lot of time outside on 10 acres swims in the swamp and is a double coated dog in Florida…) Unsure how they think an attitude like that would convince anyone to come back for their services. Acted like a martyr about doing her job, which was to groom a dog who yes, needed it. I’ll be taking my well behaved dog and my money elsewhere.

While 4 employees are visible in the store, only one has the ability to operate a cash register as well as help with crickets while the two other women at the counter stand around on their phones or in conversation. When just approaching them to ask for assistance, you can see their facial expressions change to one of smug impatience before I even open my mouth. When I was finally helped, after the cashier got through a 6 person line by herself, it took an extra 5 minutes to bag 60 crickets. I don't expect someone to move like their life depends on it but it's frustrating when they move as if they're in the middle of waking up from a deep sleep.

I gave this a 3 star because the girl was nice. I went to purchase dog food and I looked on line the night before said first time delivery 35% off. I've always bought my food from chewy many years ago before being bought out and went back to them not the same. I used to buy my food a lot Tractor Supplie it was cheaper than Chewy. So I Google my dog food brand saw Pet Smart with a special and It wouldn't take. Same price inside the store. Store scrub shoulder like I don't know thing. Manger smile that it. Wasn't impressed. But I did buy the dog foodthis time around.

We have brought our dog Sia here many times to get her nails trimmed and usually have very good experiences (with Jasmine). Sia is a very nervous and large dog, so we recently bought a muzzle to train her with for when we go to the vet or to get her nails trimmed. She had never bit anyone, but we wanted to do it as a precautionary measure since she does get so scared when being poked and prodded. When my husband went today with Sia (wearing a muzzle), he told the woman behind the counter that he was a walk-in (like always because they do not do online reservations for nail services unlike the rest of the grooming services) and she told him that they do not take walk-ins for nails because the groomers can’t adjust their schedules around the pet owners’ ability to get their animals to the groomer for nail trims. After that, she looks at Sia and her muzzle and informs my husband that they aren’t allowed to touch her since a muzzle signifies “unprovoked aggression”. She said he could make an appointment for another day and bring her in without the muzzle (which makes literally no sense since you already think my dog has unprovoked aggression???).I know there are plenty of reactive dogs out there who need to get their nails trimmed, and I think it’s insane that we are being turned away for services for trying to be responsible pet owners and taking reasonable precautionary measures. Meanwhile, I am literally being encouraged to do the irresponsible thing by the people who it’s affecting. Needless to say, we will be going elsewhere from now on.

The absolute WORST Petsmart I have ever been to. Went in today to get some hurricane supplies as Gainesville is in the path of a major hurricane. Saw a pet carrier marked down from 49 dollars to 34 dollars. Very clear sign and the smaller carrier next to it was marked down as well. Went to checkout the price came up at 49. I went back and brought the tag to the cashier and she said no this is not the same carrier. The fact that they marked a carrier down and placed a sign on it.....is a SCAM.....very common in retail.....or they are totally incompetent.......either way they should hone their error. But NO at this PetSmart, they have TERRIBLE customer service. I will NEVER return.

I stopped in PetSmart to get some kitty litter for my son's cats. He was in the hospital and I was helping care for them. As soon as I walked in the door an associate asked if I needed help. She took the time to show me exactly what I needed. I was so very grateful for her assistance. Having a helpful, cheerful staff can make all the difference. I highly recommend this store!

All the employees are great. Just wished they carried more/had a bigger selection of Urinary Tract Food for Cats.

We were in the area on our way somewhere else but needed dog food and it was very close to closing time, due to my daughter just having finished work nearby. We all know how frustrating it can be when a customer shows up right before closing!!! However, the associates never made us feel as though we were inconveniencing them. They still took time to help meet our needs and asking if we needed anything else before checking out. When it was 9pm and closing time, the associate came to us and just explained that she had to lock the doors, but to continue shopping and to not feel rushed.Overall, it was a great experience and they did their best to meet our needs and we truly did feel valued.To some, this is a minus, but to me it is a plus. This is a smaller location than I've been to compared to other PetSmart locations. I can get overwhelmed with too many choices or feel anxious in too big of a store. This store was smaller, which was nicer for me. If you're the same way, you'll probably benefit from this as well.All in all, we ended up here by chance but will most likely return simply because of this experience.
