POPB has been amazing! We are current good Sam fosters for the second time. We live in an area where dogs are dumped or left behind often, and bully breeds are the ones we see most often. POPB jumped right in to help us find the right home for the girls. Our first girl was adopted pretty quickly, and a few weeks later we saved our second girl. We have dogs of our own and unable to keep another. Blanca has been amazing throughout this whole process, especially with tips and tricks and answering any questions.

Amazing rescue filled with amazing volunteers and AMAZING DOGS! Even if you can't foster, adopt or be an ambassador you can always donate to support the care and treatment of the animals!

Our family was lucky enough to find this rescue in our search for a second pup to add to our family. I admit we did have some boxes to check, good with other dogs and cats, housebroken etc… Blanca seemed to know exactly who we needed. She recommended Viola to us and said she thought she’d actually be the perfect fit for us. We planned to meet her that weekend as we were excited. Within minutes of meeting her we were in love. We knew it was meant to be. Her foster mom was the sweetest person ever too. You could tell she really cared. We brought Viola home with us and let me tell you… she has brought so much to our home. She has livened up our old man pitty Brutus. We were told she wouldn’t even acknowledge the cats in the home… a month and a half later and they’re all rubbing up on her and she loves it!!! I was able to see the before and after pics of Viola and let me tell you… this rescue really cares and does right by these dogs. We couldn’t be happier with our new baby. *Viola is in the front and Brutus is in the back*

They were great. From getting information about Crash (formerly Cecil) to the meet and greet. Foster mom was super informative and helpful. Adoption went smooth and I’d totally recommend to anyone.

Disappointing would be an understatement with this organization. As I understand they are volunteers the expectation of professionalism should still be present. I was looking to add to my family with the perfect addition and I thought I found her through Plenty of Pit Bulls. After meeting with the potential pup I fell in love and proceeded to follow the process of application, paid the fee, and sent pictures of my home with a fenced in back yard. I was sent an approval but never sent the actual contract. With the excitement I went and bought everything possibly needed spending hundreds to be ready to bring her home. After days of back and forth emailing with the adoption coordinator I answered every question possible then with no explanation I was refunded my fee and no communication. I called the number provided several times leaving messages and sending emails asking for an explanation for the refund and no contract. Then days later I received a reply stating they were volunteers and busy. STILL no explanation. It is sad that this organization’s volunteers have the opportunity to do good work with these sweet animals but do not have the professionalism to work with the public. I understand working full time as I do the same but i also understand that treating people with kindness and understanding is imperative to be successful. I would NOT recommend this organization unless you are ready for a disappointing outcome.
